  1. Cheers Evo. I have a chance of getting one for nothing, but just needed to know if it was good to use.
  2. Hi guys just a quick question. Would a beer gas bottle be any good for an air bottle? Thanks
  3. Just amazing!! I am gob smacked!!
  4. I have only just gotten into Air rifles for Rabbits and pest birds, but watching your videos Stevo is seriously messing with my head - ***Must shake these thoughts of selling my soul for a shotty***
  5. Wow, I am learning so much since joining this forum I love crayfish, do they like any particular kind of waters/areas?

  9. I think I'd have to agree with Woody (Paul) on this, try it, and if you don't like you know you can get 500+ back on the gun, I just had a Bargain on a hw100st at 550quid, with a hawke nite-eye scope so i'm certain you won't lose money on it if you don't get on with it after a few sessions, or even change the stock as mentioned,
  10. Wow, 40 notes is awesome, I've been putting off geting one coz of the 80-90 quid price tag, but this is great, will be getting one next payday me thinks!! Thanks Tim.

  12. Nice shot. Where did you get your iScope from, I've been looking at one myself, with an samsung back plate, was it easy to set-up and fit onto the eye-piece of your scope?
  13. Great video and great shooting, Thanks for sharing.
  14. Haha, You've just confirmed my theory Youngie! Doritos are good for any situation and any animal! Although I won't ask why you have a camera in bed with your dog? I assume it's some new age way of "training" your dogs up there in north wales! We prefer sheep down in west wales
  15. Well, I went out on my forst dusk rabbit control sesh the other night and managed to get a few, and you guys were all spot on. I shot one bunny witha clean kill which spooked a few that were around and within 5 minutes one scurried back out and practically stepped on it's dead buddy! Well either that or he just thought "meh, he was a **** anyway, glad he's dead!"
  16. Top video that matey, will deffo give that a try, looks easier than cutting the breasts out!
  17. Thanks for that guys, I guess that answers that
  18. I have gotten a few permissions now and have been doing some reccy work on some so I know where the rabbit 'runs' are and where I will be setting myself up for future outings, I have managed to bag a rabbit by chance on and then picked it up straight after, obviously putting the heebyjeebies up any other rabbits that might be about. But... My question is this, If I set myself up for a shoot (using a quiet PCP) and there are a few rabbits around, one of which I managed to dispatch, is it better that I leave the dead rabbit there for a while in the hopes that it's friends and family come back out to play? or should I just go pick it up and move on to another spot? Will the Dead rabbit be enough to keep the others away or will they just come back out shortly after getting a spook?
  19. Thanks for the warm welcome guys, look forward to participating in the forums.
  20. Hi there, I just wanted to say hello really. I have been reading in the background now for a while, taking in as much info as can, especially regarding permissions and live quarry / pest control as this is going to be my main objective. On the advice of many of you helpful lot (to others through their posts) I have joined a local target club (well I am in the probationary period) and have got myself three very large permissions to shoot on, although not in writing, this will be my objective over the coming week or two. A little about me, My name is James and I am a chef and live in the amazing coastline of Pembrokeshire, I currently own a BSA Supersport .22 and a AT-44 .22 but will soon be selling these to get myself a HW100 .177. Anyway, that's it for now.
