  1. Sorry, not been adding to the tally. January total is 46, taken from 4 feeders, West Sussex. 363
  2. I can recommend kiffneys at key largo at the top of the keys. We called in a few weeks ago on the way back to the airport, they were very helpful and you just have to show your passport. Lots of guns available to try.
  3. Sorry I'm going to stick up for him. He buys a day every year on a shoot where I beat and is one of the very few guns who comes and personally thanks all the beaters and pickers up.
  4. If there is a fence around your allotment or plot there will probably be a noticable badger pathway, thats the place to hang a rag soaked in renadine or creasote. You could also try putting a pile of dog poo there (I have plenty if ypu need it!!.)
  5. Its always good to see any pack of hounds Red Stag, but i've always thought Bloodhounds/Draghounds are a bit like mastubation, very much the same principles but with some thing vital missing! Dave
  6. Thanks Mallinson I'll give them a ring tommorow.
  7. Does the Huntsman always drink cans of lager at a check?
  8. HI Guys Are the old type string operated flappers still available,if so ,do you know where? I remember seeing one years ago with a foot operated treadle type arrangement that worked pretty well. All the ad's on the net and mags only offer battery flappers, but i like to keep the weight of my kit down. Cheers Dave
  9. Nice to see some hunting photos Ive just come back from a week on Exmoor, had some good and some fair hunting in some good and atrocious weather. Its a shame there i'snt a forum like this for hunters. Dave
  10. I feel I must stick up for the TD5. My 90 CSW is nearly 3 years old and has done 30K. What you must accept is that it is a landrover, and as such you must expect the doors to leak, the heater to be useless and for regular trips to the pumps. In the past I have had an old 90 and a Disco I then got a Toyota and found it so soulless I traded it in for this landy. I have found the engine to be excellent, but I do agree with Hunterswind about the sensitive throttle. Sorry I'm a bit of a sad Landrover fan. Dave
