  1. Thanks wisdom, I have only 'heard' of them that in a post on Lytham wildfowlers recently that stated members of Fylde wildfowlers attended one of their events.

I've registered with Lytham (long waiting list) and Westmoreland which shoots Morecambe bay (I don't know if Morecambe bay wildfowlers are different, i thought that perhaps they were the same and the name was used interchangeably).

I've recently just moved to Bisham, so just seeing what's about.

  2. Hi Everyone

Does anyone have any information/is or has been a member of Fylde wildfowling club? I can't find any info and only know they exist has Lytham wildfowlers stated they attended a dinner on their Facebook.

    thanks

    Martin

  3. Hi Everyone

I'm moving house so having a clear out of guns so that I don't move them just to sit in the cabinet unused! TBH they are all cheap and open to offers, especially if you want to buy more than one.

12b Lanber, sometimes doesn't shoot 2nd shot, being told easy to sort £70

12b Valmet cheap indestructible gun, bit loose but I actually like shooting this the most £50

20bore Adkin English side by side £50

    .410 Aya single shot £50

12b Hatson semi spare or repair with all shims chokes etc Free

    2 gun breakdown cabinet £70

You're probably not going to be taking any on a grouse shoot but if you want to smash some clays, shoot some pigeons or just have a spare or two PM me if interested, I'll throw in a handful of game cartridges with any of them.

  4. Agree Staffs oatcakes are over rated, not un-nice but really as said just a vessel to old food, how about Wigan kebab or babies head? Do a you tube search their is  Joe video which is funny. Here in Midlands faggots, nive with mash and onion gravey. Blackpool, Taylor pork patties are hard to beat. I do miss a breakfast stotty from wheni lived in Sunderland, although not really breakfast it would see you though the whole day. Corniche pasties from that little shop in use fresh from the oven hard to beat.

Just had massive breakfast but making myself hungry again!

  5. Yes old post, if it's the one Im thinking of, they used to go to the gamekeepers show at Catton hall, to get pigeon shooting you had to go to their fortnightly clay shoot for a period to prove you weren't an idiot, if you proved yourself a member would take you out a few times and then you could become a full member.

I shot Clay's a couple of times with them but I joined a syndicate whick let me shoot pigeon, crows etc whenever I wanted.

They had there own little clay ground with a hut thingy and did bacon butties etc, this was outskirts of Fillongly which is kinda between Coventry and Nuneaton. If your still interested it might be worth a drive out for a couple of Sunday mornings to see if they are still going. They were a friendly bunch.
