  1. Brilliant on crossers and big loopers
  2. Have shot with Beretta 390 32in for around twenty years once you get use to it don't notice the difference . Own six will be selling a couple once been refurbished
  3. Cant agree with that i started clay shooting in 1986 with a 303 semi and from 1997 with a 390 in all those years i have only been back to GMK once , that was last week and that was with an old secondhand Cole trigger i bought . Had a new Trigger and Hammer fitted for not a lot of money . Brilliant friendly service Gordon Swatton the go to man for Beretta semi -Autos
  4. Thanks Glenlivet have tried to contact Anglo Italian several times without success , Just bought Fabarm STL sporter lovely gun after sales seems non-existent once again many thanks
  5. Can any of you guys tell me where you bought fabarm chokes many thanks
  6. Heres another one to get u thinking and talking buy yourself a choke gauge and measure them not one will measure what is stamped on them i have several sets of chokes acquired from buying s/hand semi autos out of six sets of chokes one is as stamped being Angleport the worst being Briley and Comp n choke every Teague is tighter than stamped Jess Briley and mr Teague being the godfathers of choking. .My point being there is nothing exact about choking it depends just as much on your barrel and choice of cartridge i have a Briley SK choke which throws almost full on the pattern plate Its good to talk just dont take it to seriously Happy days
  7. Been shooting since i could carry gun would not profess to be an expert or crack shot but still cannot understand why u put different chokes in top and bottom barrel ,i know some of u will also swop barrel selection on stands which to me is just something else to worry about i use a Beretta Lioness Semi-Auto because recoil problems and shoot quarter at clays and half at pigeons because i dont like walkers,. i try to use 6.5s at clays and 5s at pigeons Only Mr Digweed needs full because hes not human hes a robot All though i do agree tight chokes make u concentrate more Ps we practice at Roundwood where u can shoot clays as far out as u like sixty seventy yds quarter breaks everything 9s thru skeet choke will dust the high tower which i think is the highest in the country brilliant targets a bad day shooting is better than a good day at work HAPPY DAYS
  8. never been able to work out how import duty or vat on imports work i buy most of my shooting gear from the states as i shoot semi- autos due to recoil problems cole guns-brownells-kicks chokes-angle port-re ranger most times cheaper than UK think its spose to be on how much you spend sometimes i pay sometime not brownells uk mega dear
  9. go on kicks website buy straight from the states brilliant chokes good service the only problem import duty. Have been told that Southdown still sell them but not sure
