  1. I have a solution to tv problems. I just stopped watching tv and gave up my licence. Before that I used to turn it off. I have picked out some news on youtube about the Queen and news articles on newsfeed to watch and read. I liked the Queen I think she did a great job. I am sad she has gone. It upset me more than I thought, as did Prince Phillip's death last year. King Charles will do a great job. He has worked hard on environmental issues, charities, youth projects and many other things for years. I think a lot of folks don't like him because they liked Dianne and despite it being 1996 when they divorced still hold a grudge against him for that. Since he and Dianne divorced they gave him no credit for anything. We won't know how the younger royals will be in the future, but we can't judge young folk on 1950's standards much as we would like to.
  2. She's going to get battered for that, certainly not the time or plaice. She is a dab hand at wrecking her business. Still when her business fails she'll have plenty of time to mullet over....

  6. https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/589530/pn/010-01856-10 These are quite good. You can programme your vehicle dimensions in for it to check your best route. The camera is a good option too. I have the car version of this and have been pleased with it. They do versions for caravan and campers too.
  7. Think I might bring the rocket stove and some more wood back next time I go down the woodland. Got a generator. Camping gas cooker. 2 different portable gas heaters and 4x 6kg, 1x 7kg and 1x 3.9kg gas cylinders. Unless mains gas goes off I have a gas cooker in the kitchen. Got back up batteries for the phones and a battery powered shower. I can always put another dog on the bed too.
  8. This might help. Its about skeet shooting from a wheelchair. 😁
  9. I think you use the drink bottle. You drink the contents and hope you can get it to the other end before it works through. 🤷‍♀️

  11. Me too. I have a good day, so I do lots of jobs off the never ending list. Feel really pleased with whats been achieved. Next few days it all comes back to bite me with aches and pains. I have to wear anti vibration gloves now for a lot of power tools were I can as I end up with bad hands and wrists next day. ☹
  12. Not sure on gundogs as the jumping is not so intense, but in agility large breed dogs are not encouraged to do tall jumps till 18mths old and small breeds at 12mths old. This gives their joints time to mature without damage. One reason he might not even try jumping. Is it possible he has attempted a jump and hurt himself in the past, which would put him off trying. You could try putting something to give him a boost for starters with the car ie like a caravan step and encourage him by breaking the height of the jump for starters.

  16. The next installment of Parcelfarce. They told my supplier my parcel was at Stoke on Trent yesterday morning and would be delivered today, Friday. I checked the tracking this morning to find it had managed to go from Coventry where the supplier is to the National hub and then to Birmingham Depot last night. Its not been near Stoke yet which is my local depot. Doesn't look promising for delivery today. It even states on Parcelfarce website tracking received at wrong delivery depot. 🙄 I sent a screenshot of the tracking to the supplier. They should know at 08:00 the 24hr delivery is messed up again. 🤷‍♀️
  17. I always have problems with Parcel farce. The latest one was I got a text from them to say they were delivering my parcel yesterday, which is when the supplier said it would be delivered. Waited in all day for nothing. On their website tracking today it reckoned they hadn't received in yet. I got in touch with the supplier and they chased it. Apparently its sat at my local depot and will be delivered tomorrow now. 🤬
  18. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-62587263 They have arrested someone for it. 👍🏻
