  1. This thread has truely opened my eyes thank you all
  2. Shooting on ground with the land owners permission for legal quarry, but you are right I'm wrong just plugging them is the wrong phrase to use and as you stated illegal, maybe stopping pigeon shooting on livestock farms is the right way to go but I'll have to think about first.
  3. No crop protection, no crop to protect unless you count the clover, just a couple of mates plugging pigeon is that a bad thing? My crop protection is around the Brecon and Llanarth areas, when called for, all birds end up on the plate or in the ferret.
  4. Aye gravity fed hotwater pumped c/h heat leak in the porch can't argue with tradition but as been said don't skimp on the insulation it'll pay dividends down the line straw blocks are used in Norway.
  5. We used to call it Datsun cherry picking
  6. Yes but we used to go scrumping for cars
  7. God I hope not we used to go scrumping when we were kids
  8. Try Aldi's. sorry ,sorry , thought it said powder.
  9. Yes it looks fine if you have trouble with the trap being sucked out replace the solvent weld (glued) elbow with a tee and put a 40mm air admittance valve on the upstand bit higher than the waste water entry point. This forum will be putting us out of business.
  10. They are about, just not where a lot of people on this forum shoot, peas, wheat, rape etc because the farms around our way rear livestock, the birds feed on different diets beechmast, ivy berries, wimberries, clover, sheep feeders, blackberries and a few other things, even seen them pecking at puff balls, find these and your heading in the right direction.
  11. Just saw a few posted comments about lack of pigeons in South Wales, really!! I must be lucky living up in the heads of the valley area, we get some tremendous sport when the birds are on the beech mast, my favourite time of year is when they're on the wimberries, the meat tastes almost sweet, always some flying around never mind what time of year it is, never gave much thought to what the rest of the principality was like, surprised me that.
  12. The police now take this very seriously and about time, as for giving out your real name that can leave this forum open to abuse from the powers of evil bit like batman
  13. Social networking is used for bullying and both my daughters have suffered from this, I hate facebook, twitter and all the other "friendly" networking sites seen a few relationships destroyed from it as well, told my daughter that they should be banned!! she smiled and said "posted any comments on pigeon watch lately" smart **** kids
  14. Sad news just heard it's not a British problem it's the worlds problem lets see what the U N say on the matter Britan isn't equiped to fight a conventional war anymore united forces are called for and for gods sake when it does kick off keep the media out of the war zone and let the armed forces do what they do best kill
