  5. He was a off duty paramedic who was waved down by his mates as the local vicar in the pub was having a heart attack. He quickly chucked his coat over his gun in the back of his van and ran in to help (saving the vicars life) He came back to his van to find the rear window smashed and the gun gone. (I made all this up but you can see my point)

  12. When I worked down pit and anybody had a complaint about how unlucky they were. An old bloke used to say "have you got any kids" they would say "yes a couple" the old bloke would say "are they healthy" They would say "yes very" He would then say " How lucky do you want to be" (He lost his wife and kids in a house fire while at work on nights)
  13. Just came back from Lanzarote and the large group of the people that move around in caravans had decided to eat in a pub we use. The pub owners made them pay for the meals and drinks up front (because of problems in the past) When they left the pub looked like a bomb site and they had stolen all the salt and pepper pots, sauce and paper napkins.

  22. This was in my local paper a few weeks ago (selby times) and as far as I can remember the tipping happened in 2011-2012. Basically they had permission to tip inert waste (rubble ect) as part of a building project. They allowed local skip firms in to tip and it was them who tipped illegal waste. I am pretty sure it said all the illegal waste had been removed at great expense. The local skip firms were fined but park lodge got the big fine for not supervising the site
  23. And the Lagunilla reserve Rioja was £12 a bottle last year. Just got six bottles for £20
