I managed to pick up a superb condition Arrietta Viscount 28” barrels for £255 from Holts last auction, agree with Tony. -
Lanber 30” barrels, multichoke, with two butt pads 14.75” & 15.5” good condition. £275 and I travel between Winchester & Farnham a couple of times a week for work. PM your email address if interested and I’ll send across some photos.

Thanks Rossliner, does the 0000 steel wool affect the bluing? I was going to try Tru Oil, is that similar to the CCL offering?

My latest acquisition courtesy of the last Holts Auction, Gunmark Arrietta Viscount, with a 15.75” stock. A few very minor rust spots, and stock could do with a refinish, any suggestions welcome.

Takes me back to my apprenticeship when I used to build sash windows, the old way with the hand rebate plane. You have some skills TT, kudos buddy.

If I understand “6.5” correctly the chokes he has are aftermarket chokes for the Optima HP system, so these will fit your gun.
