Hello everyone. I'm about to sell a 303 rifle and have ammunition for it I also want to get rid of. I know with the rifle you write all the details on the other chaps ticket and then inform the police but what about ammunition, do you also fill out the chaps ticket then inform your local firearms dept or don't you have to notify them with ammunition?

I've got some mini shells that are probably about 30 or 40 years old.Some say bb on the overshot card and others aren't marked so could be anything in there.They were amongst my dad's gear and they're the only minis I've ever seen so I've kept them as a bit of a curio.

Depends on what the stock is but I mainly use boiled linseed oil on my mausers and sheratons beeswax wood balsam on my enfields and winchester.Never heard of dubbin being used.

The army issue Hi tec silver shadow are a good neutral trainer and not expensive.As for training it's always good to learn a skill while exercising so id recommend boxing and calisthenics.

We get ripped off for everything gun related. I bet importers put a good whack on top.

Magnum arms did a lot of the conversions of these and lots of other mil surps in the 70s.You could choose to get them either full bore,or .410 or with the rifling taken out and left in the original chambering. I have a 1906 made Gew98 mauser that's converted by them to .410.Got the sales catalogue too.
