my spaniel goes off to a trainer next weekend, any one know who I can go and see to learn the art of field trials and field work. local to Great Missenden

had my first shoot today, decoys set up in a horse shoe shape, bouncer on the far right hand side, yet all of the pigeons over flew the pattern. why? what did I do wrong? do I need to paint the old decoys to brighten them up?

I have been driving around all week, approaching farmers and land owners. didn't realise how hard it would be to get permission to shoot.
