  1. Patient Woof Woof. Hoping for leftovers. Me thinks there will be none!
  2. Just 'quaffing' the 'Elixir' with a dash of lemonade. Very nice! A tad alcoholic I may add.
  3. Looks Tasty! Harry, what is the green stuff?, is it to 'pique' the palate or simply an embellishment.
  4. She looks like a beautiful dog. I am sure she has had the most wonderful life that any running dog could wish to have. From the look at your pictures I assume she must have had hundreds of hours marking and behind the ever bolting bunny. I bet when she is curled up after a days ferreting that she emits small excitory whimpers in her sleep dreaming of the the rabbit which is always just within a breaths reach. Superb!
  5. AND THE WINNER IS; DRUM ROLL ........... Docleo with the highest guess at £178.50 The actual cost for the whole trolley was eye watering and even I was shocked at £305.44. Quite a few were hidden items that could not be seen in the trolley such as a bulk pack of razor blades at £26 which were the single most expensive thing in the trolley. But to me when we got to the checkout even though the trolleys are very, very big it still looked sparse. Made me bloody wallet sparse I know that. Costco, should be called 'COSTBLOW' Anyway congratulations Docleo and will send you a pm. Thank you all for taking part. atb 7diaw
  6. I remember it well and actually watched it a few months back as it was on. Still as good as ever Steve. I thought James Mason played a fantastic character. The archetypal englishman. Face The Master!
  7. Back in the day used to fire rockets out of drainpipes, just like a rocket launcher. Superb stuff! Singed me eyebrows once making a 'Genie' from the powder out a load of fireworks. I am a lot more sensible in my older years.
  8. Below is a pic of a recent shop done at Costco. We do a stock up every six months or so on some essentials and always end up throwing some rubbish in the trolley. The shop among other things has a case of wine, large case loo rolls, several big bag freezer items, large birthday cake (was my daughter's) case of coke (for over christmas) and quite lot of other items that you cannot see in the trolley. The trolley is larger than the large supermarket trolleys. To whoever can guess what the nearest total cost was will win 15 bottles of my homemade elderflower champers. This years batch is a lot drier than the usual sweeter batches and this was due to using champagne yeast in the batch. Alcohol wise it is not overly potent but can make one a 'little merry'. Will anounce the winner tomorrow eve at 21.00. I will post it out to the winner in the next couple of weeks delivered to your door. Best way to quaff it is to leave it in the fridge for 24 hours as the cooling drives the c02 back into the liquid. Drink it straight if you like dry, if not add a little lemonade to sweeten. If on tasting that it is not to your palate, simply use it as a 'fragrant drain cleaner' and I will not be offended in any way. Disclaimer: Quaff at your own risk.
  9. I liked the first half of your lunch John but not the second. Ditchy that bacon looks superb! Looks to me like it has been done in the pan which is the best way in my opinion and not dried out under the grill. I salivating now.
  10. Munzy. I couldn't have summed up the Exorcist better myself. The Blair Which gave me the 'jitters' but I thought the ending a bit naff. I cannot take that away from you in respect in the way the film was presented was pioneering at the time. The nineties were fantastic.
  11. 'BEEP BEEP BENNY' IT, WAS REALLY CREEPY!
  12. Plenty you guys have posted up that I had totally forgot about and have seen several times. I can say I would have to agree with Scully that watching the exorcist at about age 13 (on a pirate videotape) was the scariest thing I had ever experienced. Truthfully for weeks I would be terrified going to bed. It still gives me 'the willies'. 😬 Ahh the evil dead now there's a memory and the sixth sense was superb. Bruce Willis's somewhat earthly predicament caught me out of the blue. As said, all great stuff. I watched Hellraiser the other week after switching the tv over and the original was on. Old Pinhead himself, still as gory as ever but still a classic! The man with the xray eyes, have not seen it for years what a blast from the past. Another gooden ' The Dead Zone' with Christopher Walken and who can forget 'The Fog' with the clanking chains. @amateur Found it! Looks like my type of film. A classic.
  13. That looks superb Ditchy. I salivating now.
  14. Two more which I had forgotten about which are absolute classics. American werewolf was cutting edge cinematoghraphy for it's time. The sequel was bit naff though. Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins played great roles in Dracular as did Richard E Grant.
  15. @Munzy Forgot about Don't Look Now. What a cracker and the ending scene used to give me the 'Heebie Jeebies' something terrible. Can't forget the Wicker Man with Edward Woodward getting a bit hot and bothered.
  16. Had a couple of meals in there in last few years, not too bad and cheap enough for pub grub.
