  1. I dont believe there is, as long as you show reason for them, and most importantly , keep them secure. An RFD can keep literally hundreds, but that is obviously a business, but again, security is the issue. I have a club member who has some 25 guns of various types, his business is alarm and electrical, and he never has an issue with FEOs. I have 9 , and am told if I hit 10, I need a monitored alarm.
  2. Agreed👍 That doesn't make sense. If France didn't just let them walk in, reside there undocumented, and assist them in getting to the UK, then we wouldn't have a problem at all, France/the EU is deliberately aiding the economic and social damage being done to us, and we are paying them for it 😂 If the roles were reversed, our gallic cousins would put up the barricades, and would send them straight back. Of that I have NO doubt.
  3. If this country is so bad, why don't you flee the place to a better one? A bit like the boat people are fleeing from France. I might drive to Switzerland, claim asylum, on account that the UK is an economic ruin, and my political beliefs aren't popular, or try the Albanian method, say I've got debts, so I need a new start. Should be OK shouldn't it?
  4. How 'many' UK citizens have claimed asylum in other countries? Why don't you give it a whirl Grant, see how you get on, this country is after all, in your own words, 'broken' 😉
  5. All I know is that trying to fix a supposedly democratic system, by using more of the same broken democracy, just isn't going to work. It's like using sellotape to fix a leaky water pipe. You're probably expecting me to say no, but a revolution of sorts is likely the only way to gain real change, it doesn't have to be violent, a kind of non conformity amongst enough people could easily topple a sitting government and make them realise they work for us, not the other way round. Think of it like unions going on strike, or everyone flatly refusing to pay council tax ? They can't lock everyone up. Africa has enough land and resources for twice that population, if the leaders of the African nations weren't so concerned about lining their own pockets ,while suckling at the teats of China, Russia and the US, they could turn the continent into a global powerhouse. It's a huge country too, but it certainly isn't OUR problem.
  6. The time is rapidly approaching for a lot of countries who bought into the liberalist ideals of the EU, when they realise that an open door policy on migration, particularly from 3rd world countries, is not the greatest idea if you liked your country the way it was.
  7. Its because its not their money. All these labour run councils that are now insolvent, Nottingham city council just declared itself insolvent to the tune of £1 billion , did the leader step down ? No Did they apologise ? No Are local services going to suffer ? Yes. Did they blame the tories in Westminster ? You betcha.
  8. Those 2 fingers, via 4 million votes for UKIP , gave us a Brexit referendum, which , against a media and political establishment heavily against leaving, thankfully gave us freedom from the EU. But what did the system do with the result ? After nearly 4 years of bluster and calls for a revote, we actually left, and only because the Brexit party threatened to rob the tories of votes, but in reality we are very little further on. You put your faith in a democratic system in the UK, but its just an illusion, and there is no will to do anything realistic about uncontrolled migration, by anyone, despite what the majority may want. Even Reform have watered down their proposals, trying to make their politics more palatable to more of the populace. Like I say, they could have a landslide victory, but what could they actually do , they would have constant attacks from all angles, because the system rums far deeper than any mere government. Things will get considerably worse before they get better, thats if they ever get better.
  9. As much as Id like to see radical change to the way we are 'governed' in the UK , it just isnt going to happen. You could replace the tories with a party like Reform, give them an 80- seat majority, and you would still have the whole rotten wokey civil service to contend with, lefty councils wasting money on an industrial level, and the labour dominated unions, hell bent on bringing down transport, education and the NHS. The rot is that far ingrained into British society now, we are probably an incurable case, destined for a major collapse. The time will come , within our lifetimes, when there will be more people leaching from the social state, than those who are actively contributing into it. The system is barely sustainable now, and will continue to get worse, until we reach a critical mass, leading to meltdown, and those who rely on state money, will simply stop receiving it, as there will be no more money left. All it takes is a major recession, a natural disaster , maybe another pandemic, to usher this in faster, but sheer weight of numbers will do it eventually anyway.
  10. I found this story interesting. The plaintiffs are seeking £20000 each in damages, because when they were taken in by border force, they had to give up their phones. One would have thought that for security reasons, this would need to happen ? https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/home-office-channel-boats-migrants-damages-high-court-england-priti-patel-b1126523.html#:~:text=In March 2022%2C three asylum,at migrants crossing the Channel. Then theres this one from a few years ago. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/oct/25/asylum-seekers-sue-uk-over-unlawful-detention “Having made the brave and perilous journey from across the world, in the hope of finding safety and a secure future in a free country, they were instead put into detention centres.” Thats terrible isnt it , they should have been granted full UK citizenship straight away, given a house, car and all the money they needed for free ? Whats wrong with this country, surely a 'free country' means everything is free ?
  11. Depending on who youre referring to , I found Mr Drakeford insensitive and lacking of compassion too, but hey.... And criticising people isnt always 'offensive', especially when said criticism is entirely accurate, lets be honest , are you offended because another man was criticised, or because you just like being offended ? Bye
  12. Of course I am. Are you refuting the statement, or are you offended ? Exactly right.
  13. Is the statement inaccurate , or do you just find it offensive ?
  14. We can agree to disagree on these points, but Im under the impression that when police firearms are in play, all weapons carried by bad guys are considered worthy of lethal response if necessary. Be that an imitation gun, air gun, bat, or any edged weapon. They will not compromise their own , or the publics safety if their is an immediate threat.
  15. I dont class an air rifle as harmless, perhaps 'less' harmful, but all firearms incidents should be treated the same, even if its a toy or replica. Counter productive, all a terrorist would need to do is put a dayglo tip on his AK and police would be less inclined to believe its real ? Very much so.
  16. You cant purchase an FAC air rifle online, especially if youre a criminal drug addict who starts an armed siege because his takeaway was delivered cold. The gun is sold as sub 12 ft lb, if they somehow managed to modify it to be over that , that would explain the firearm conviction. The 'bullet hole ' does look a bit excessive for a legal limit gun though. You cant ban something because it looks too militaristic, where would that end ? Do police look at a wooden stocked gun and think 'No , its not dangerous, its got a wooden stock' ? Just because a gun is black and has some kind of 'magazine' , doesnt make it more dangerous.
  17. Why dont we find out if they would prefer Rwanda ? Lets be honest, France isnt the greatest, they eat a lot of cheese and garlic, but the weathers slightly better. and although the French police do love a good baton charge with liberal doses of pepper spray, they do have the ECHR, just the same as here, so why not just claim asylum there ? Then once they have embraced the Gallic lifestyle , got their French/EU passport , they can pop over and visit us, on a visa of course. One would think there is something we have that the EU doesnt, I mean , surely the French put them up in hotels too as they are being processed ?
  18. Can you not see that the two things are connected ? If they knew that their attempts at asylum would be a waste of time and money (that these destitute refugees from war torn countries seem to have plenty of) then you know , they might just not bother getting in that dinghy in the first place ?
  19. I saw one.. Oh wait ....
  20. That really doesnt stand up to scrutiny now does it ? You blamed Brexit, dont try and wriggle out of it now
  21. I thinking youre getting it now....
  22. We had a serious illegal/economic migration problem beforehand, so in what way do you believe leaving the EU made it worse, unless of course you are admitting that the EU deliberately MADE it worse. Did not being a member anymore, make it possible for Brussels, and by extension ,France, to send us more illegals ? Or , are you saying the UK became a more attractive place with us not being in the EU? Because only one of those makes any sense. Could you clarify what exactly has 'gone to the dogs' ? Err....
