  1. Where abouts are you? Looking for stuff for the garage
  2. £140 for mine 56 plate
  3. Tin cans with a giant kettle on board that have been underwater for 20 years have a habit of breaking lol
  4. Marine Engineer, I put Ballistic Nuclear Submarines back together.
  5. It's funny reading what people think happen. In all honesty it is not that exiting. A lot of stuff on the net from so called experts or people who have been told makes me giggle. They are not that dangerous really, I sleep next to them most nights of the week
  6. Welcome from Gosport, well when I am at home anyway
  7. The fact is the boats are 20ish years old and are pretty complicated, yes they do have problems but look at 20 year old land rovers.... Everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it, to produce this based on his experience as a very very junior member of the RN, quoting passing comments is wrong. I'm sure the antis will pounce on it but reading between the lines someone is just naffed off or wants to make a spectacle of themselves.
  8. On the net somewhere, 18 pages of rambling, I got to page 3
  9. The Mrs turned it off when things were thrown at the tv in disgust .
  10. Carn't really say much but knowing the person, the boat, crew in question and also having a intimate knowledge of how the boats are run and maintained the 'document' does raise some eyebrows. The way he has gone about it is wrong and as a close knit 'family' (Submariners) I feel betrayed and embarrassed. I know the feelings internally, but was trying to find out the feelings of people reading the story.
  11. Has anyone seen the story floating about on BBC regarding the leaks about security on trident boats? Just wanted to know if anyone external is actually taking the guy claims seriously?
  12. I use magnums, used them for work (Navy) and no one has ever noticed. Comfy and waterproof, use them to walk in aswell.
  13. Have a search on one of the fiesta owners club forums for a how to. Most probable is bumper off (fixings in the wheel arch and across the slam panel) then disconnect hoses top/bottom unbolt and remove rad, you sometimes have to drop the plastic tray underneath the engine and lower it out
  14. If you want the proper thing look for vag~com or VCDS I think it is called, if you have a look on a VAG forum they normally have sections for people who have it that do little jobs and how it works.
