  1. Well I'm sat in a room just now waiting to go down for the 2nd operation on my spine, I hope the results from this one are better than the first time round , I can't wait to get back in the fields doing what I have a passion for, hope it won't be too long a wait , I'm chomping at the bit 😁😁😁😁😁

  7. One particular permission of mine is brilliant year after year for crows but very few pigeon however this year for the first time since I've been shooting it ( aprox 40 yrs) there are actually quite a few descent size flocks of pigeon coming in to feed. You just never know 😁😁 And the crop hasn't been altered either.

  10. I tend to use my sbs,s most times I go out now especially on pigeon and corvids, they are great fun and put a smile on my face, my small collection consists of 1, E- Anson, 12g boxlock ( obviously) 30" Damascus barrels. 2, Cogswell & Harrison 12g boxlock , 3, Victor Sarasqueta 12g boxlock ,, and 4, Midland gun Company 16g boxlock. No doubt this won't be the end of my purchases 😁😁
  11. Just had a look at one , I'll send you a pm.
  12. I'll check that out, thanks bud. Don't want to spend too much as I reckon in a short time it will be for sale, he will definitely end up shooting 12g but I don't want to force him onto 12g .
  13. I've tried 21grams with him, he's got his heart set on a 20g so I'm not going to disappoint him, I've several 12g sbs myself so adjusting one for him would not be a problem but it's not what he wants, hence the wanted 20g topic.
  14. Hi all, I'm looking for a cheap 20g sbs , my grandson has started showing a lot of interest in the old sbs shotguns ( which I find brilliant) so I would like to get him a reasonable sbs in 20g, he has tried two of my 12g sbs but there a little punchy for him even with the adjustments I have made, Thanks in advance,,, Ian.
