  1. Strange that. When I tested positive, I got a text from the NHS saying I had the virus when tested which is pretty obvious or I would have been negative. And should isolate for ten days from the date I had the test. Then a couple of days later got a phone call, telling me pretty much the same thing. She was quite interested when I told her where I worked as it flagged up on her computer straight away, Not sure if they have done anything about the amount of staff that have gone down with it. He's still open so looks like not a lot.
  2. You will test positive for 90 days after initial infection. Thats what the very knowledgeable lady from the NHS told me. Wife tends to agree as well.
  3. I have a duck called Kelvin, Not much help really but as I have no clue to help you out I thought it would be rude not to post at least something.😁

Keeping the video interesting is key. Filming the heat treat for instance show the quench, they love that the more flames you get the better and if the blade is still on fire and you can't put it out is also quite amusing but don't show the tempering cycle, boring. yes show them it going in the oven and coming out afterwards. Thats another thing that slows me down is the temper cycle. I had a small oven in my workshop but it kept popping the fuse everytime I fired it up so had to use the main one in the kitchen. This does not bode too well with the wife so usually have to wait till she is at work. More time wasted. Ok to show the balls ups but don't swear. I do a lot of swearing especially when nothing is going right and I should just stop and go indoors. Sometimes when you have edited out the swearing there is not a great deal left to work with.

Some good advise there. I spent a good 3 hours yesterday editing a video of me making a filleting knife, I made it quite some time back, I know 3 hours is not that long but you see my point when all I managed to get was 4 minutes of usable flowing video. Its seems to be common Knowledge on the You Tube and instagram forums that for better video's and easier editing you need a Mac. I have a gaming computer with windows 10 and Cyber Link Power director editing software, This software is pretty much what everyone uses but is far more useable on a Mac than windows. I try to keep my intro's short with a shot of the finished knife the first thing the viewer sees. I do add a bit of comedy here and there. Did one where I am moving something on the workbench and I disturb this monster of a spider we looked at each other and I spliced in the Run neme and me decamping the shed very quickly which went down quite well. A few probably don't know what the Run neme is. But its used to good effect on a lot of You Tube video's.

Thats the bit I have trouble with is the editing. I have a full time job which I hate with a passion you can only dream of. I would love to get my Knife making hobby out there and hopefully bigger thing will follow and You tube seems to be quite a good platform. Its just time. What with work it can take me around a week to make a knife from scratch and film it. But I have to get a weeks worth of filming down to no more than 12 minutes. for You Tube. and it takes for ever.

I seriously need to get my You Tube channel up to date, been a bit lapse with it lately mainly because I just can't be bothered with editing. Takes for ever, try to put a bit of humour into them by using film clips but the clip can not be longer than 3 seconds, you have to upload it, edit it down to size etc etc a nightmare. Anyway finished in the shed today and been sorting a few video's which I may have ready in about a month. So I was looking around and taking peeks at what You Tubers earn. And its a real eye opener. Kat Wonders Canadian bird quite fit cracking eyes gets paid an absolute fortune for trying on Bikini's and dresses. She is worth a small fortune that is her full time job. Occupation is listed as You Tuber. 10 year old Chinese kid tests toys thats all he does. Big toy manufacturers fall over each other to send him thier latest toy and it does ride on if he likes it or not. 10 years old and he's worth millions. Colin Furze You Tube inventor net worth nearly 3 million but still looks like he lives in an old council house in Stamford Lincs. And then you have onlyfans similar to YouTube but a bit more risky. Some bird on there who is around 19, but dresses to look a bit younger. Worth Millions. Sold her bath water for $15000!! Another You Tuber who just uploads video's of his mates getting drunk and having accidents also worth millions. Nik Zammetti You tuber has a wood turning channel, Worth undisclosed. But created and runs Makers Central and also now on TV Mend it for Money. Annoying eh?
  9. Interesting Ad today about Bankrupt Stock. Company has a job lot of Industrial Nut Roasters. Take that as you will.
  10. Upto 70% more .transmitable but no evidence it is anymore deadly than the other strains.
  11. I believe they are but after my wife has finished cooking it to oblivion they could replace structural parts of the severn bridge with it.
  12. Thats the main reason she is pointing toward an Air Fryer, is the smell and the clean up. Getting rid of the old oil is a nightmare round here the council do eventually collect it but its judging when they are going to turn up. When I was living at home me mum had a big old saucepan with a mesh basket inside, The amount of times that caught fire!!!. She used to pour the old oil onto the bonfire my dad regularly had at the bottom of the garden obviously before he had lit it. I remember that used really get the fire going.
  13. Apparently so. Also the marking of "1T" outside your house if you are a woman living alone is a particular cause for concern.
  14. After years of burnt beyond recognition oven chips the wife has decided to get a fryer and given me the responsibility of the purchase (I have Amazon Prime)She has sort of pointed toward one of those Air Fryer jobbies but I'm not so sure, you can't beat a deep fat fryer. So has anyone got an air Fryer and are they any good compared to a deep fat fryer? I'm already watering at the mouth at the thought of chicken wings, Scampi, Onion rings. And decent crispy GOLDEN not Black chips.
  15. Well all is forgiven now. She even let me have my Birthday presents early. She got me a fantastic Life Assurance policy and a set of Silverline Axle Stands. Seriously how thoughtful is that of her?
  16. You should also keep an eye on the outside of your house, look for chalk marks on the pavement or a lamp post if its directly outside your house. Markers for a visit.

    debenhams

Thats what the one in Romford will probably end up being flats. All these flats being built especially in London, but who's buying them? Riverlight a multi million pound project built next to the Thames. 15 of the right type of people bought flats there. The rest stayed empty until the developers reluctantly done a deal with the council and its now full but not with the type of clients the developers original aimed at.

    Cabella's

They have no intention of opening an outlet here in the UK, got two emails to prove it somewhere.
  21. If getting the hump and holding a grudge where Olympic events she would be on the pedestal having a gold medal put round her neck. She didn't speak to me for weeks when she found out I named my new pup after her brother Seamus. Eventually had to give in and re-name him Webley. (the pup not her brother before anyone pulls me on that.)
  22. Just for the record she is still not happy.

    Cabella's

More internet rumours on a few Facebook pages that Cabella's are looking at opening a UK outlet. People who start these rumours should do a bit of research before they get typing. Cabella's was bought out a few years ago by rival Bass Pro and they have closed most of the Cabella stores and amalgamated them into the Bass Pro shops. A few years ago I emailed Cabella to ask them if they where going to open a UK outlet and finally got a reply saying they had NO plans to open a UK store. Bass Pro replied likewise. I would love a Bass Pro or similar set up to open in the UK. My credit card would be dead in minutes and lets be honest for a hunting/fishing minded person, you are talking a day out in there, I doubt a Bass Pro would survive here honestly. While we enjoy our shooting and fishing etc and there is a market for it, its a bit different over the water. I think the closest we have to Bass Pro is Glasgow Angling, been there a few times when I was in the area couriering plenty to look at and buy, but being in Essex its a bit of trot. There is always the internet Bass Pro sell on evil bay but I doubt it beats a walk round of a shop 3 floors high packed to the rafters with toys. Lets be honest here this is shopping.....

    debenhams

The Debenhams in Romford is huge 4 massive floors, wonder what will happen to that? Can't see them turning it into flats as they would have to pretty much close the shopping center to demolish it and rebuild. Doubt any other chain would take it on what with internet shopping being the cause of Debenhams demise in the first place.
