right the buddy bottle is rammed up to a very high pressure , and the regulator fills a chamber up to the preset limit , so if you can adjust this limit so you can fill the chamber to same pressure as the buddy bottle, equals more air at a much higher pressure and a bigger transfer port allowing more air pass into the barrel , and a massive hammerspring that keeps the valve open longer alowing all the air to pass quicker from the chamber to the barrel . if thats still to complicated, i give up... thought there might be one engineer here who knows something

a rough guess standard s10 280 shots 11.5ftlbs FAC s10 180 shots 38ftlbs s10 90 74ftllbs thats double standard FAC as i just diveded by 2 . and mine gets 55 60 at a push this is just a rough guide

i presume then no one has a clue how a airrifle works ! . you have buddybottlle with over 200bar pressure , attached at one end and a regulator , and trigger that knocks a hammer spring to let the air from a chamber in the regulator ,pass through a port , pushing the pellet out of the barrel ! fj5Aq7bz-tI and how powerfull s10 11ftlbs 280 shots per bottle / FAC S10 38ftlbs 180 shots per bottle can you seen the pattern or am i wasting my time ? if your getting less shots per bottle ! weres the air going !

MR Bowkett lives in other side of Birmingham , showed me how the cigar unit works when i he tuned my gun the first time , but he had to reduce it as i forgot my ticket , so i spent some time rebuilding the cigar unit , to get more air through per cycle , and a freind who works in machine shop made a custom transfer port even wider than the FAC version allso fitted custom strong hammerspring , this keeps the hammer open longer to let more air in , playing with different pellets i found accupells are so consistant ,and accurate

soon as i get out with my S10 try and do a short Vid as, and will see how far i can hit a target , remember the Cigar unit in mine has been totally rebuilt with custom springs shims / longer knock of valve stem, and a custom made transfer port , thats twice as wide as an FAC version, custom hammer springs with shims , standard FAC 35 to 40ftlbs are there kids on here ? wot the *** has a tuned FAC airrifle got to do with a car !

mines a cheap mk1 S10 . FAC tuned to 80ftlbs + as i only get 55 shots per bottle ! and no moderator as i was getting pellet wobble from that much air , causing pellets to go everywhere i found heavy pellets drop off, i use accupells , on mark every time,

FAC is need for any airifle is any rifle over 11,5ftlbs i got mine up to 90ftlbs ! much cheaper than my mates 22 rimfire ,he went thru a fortune of bullets last weekend 500 accupells much cheaper and AIR !!!

hi ! i have an old mark 1 superten ! thats got it were it counts ! was FAC 37ftlbs ! now i only get 55 shots per buddy bottle ! ,the gun has been totally rebuilt with custom springs , cigar unit , and a bog standard beech stock repolished , well i have my gun zerod in at 67yards roughly paced out i found the best accurate pellets are accupells , ok there not the heaviest , weighty pellets drop like a stone,

i had the same problem , but for other reasons extreme high power , the pellets were clipping the silencer sending the pellets every where ! i cant use a silencer as theres so much air coming out behined the pellet , in the silencer it was causing the pellet to wobble , and accuracy was the same pellets were going evey where and i couldnt zero it at all ,

i have a FAC bsa s10 and i have tuned it up to the max! rebuilt cigar unit with custom springs ,and a custom hammerspring , also nice to know if it goes wrong or just needs a service i can do it my self as seal kit cost pennys , well. i did cheat a bit mr Bowkett who designed the superten did show me how to rebuild the cigar unit !

i have high powerd FAC , those heavy pellets are shocking at accuracy i allways use accupells , no point on power if you can,t a barn door !

of course its excess yardage but mines not a standard FAC rated at 40ftlbs ! mines at least double , no point in zeroing in at 40ft ! when you can kill 4 times .and the zeroring will be way out ! i use acupells ,2,2 , anyone rate any other pellet for a high powered FAC i wanted to see how much power i could get out of it ! thou it was more but! cocking it was awfull and i had to replace bolt, if had the dosh i would like to upgrade to 2.5cal ,

I have rebulit my BSA Superten as i got it cheap ,FAC rated and needed a rebuild custom cigar unit , modifed transfer port for more air to the barrel , custom hammer spring now only 55-58 shots per buddy bottle i have it zerod in at 67yards could of been further but that was the max length i had to play with , sorry aint had it chroned yet!

i have rebuilt a bsa superten Fac now only 50 shots per bottle and knocking out extreme high power ,as i have rebuilt the Cigar unit and mine has a custom super large port transfer , to the barrel , and custom hammerspring , and well over 60fps found the best pellet is domed accupells any other pellets are all over the place ,
