Hello, nothing wrong with a T20 or other torches but most depends on having a good I/R pill, I still have a 501b and T20/38s with original leds, now with these new VCSEL laser pills and using with night vision it's a far better clarity and the laser type beam goes far beyond most shooting ranges, even a night vision spotter will benefit using these new torches, and the price you can buy compared to a top end laser torch will be a popular purchase under £50, that's not to say the £100 plus laser torches will be less used it all depends on your night range and type of night vision that suites you,

Just to add I have a 12g hush power 10 inch mod waiting to go on a single 12 g with high rib, I will also cut the barrel down to minimum length or just over so the balance is better with the rib up against the silencer back end, will be used around farm buildings ,

Hello, this is not the usual PCP charging cylinder type we use but I purchased 5 years ago with a full test by a company in the Midlands, now out of test and Oxford Dive shop refused to Re Test and not a reason although I think wanted me to buy a new cylinder kit ££££ssss, I declined anyway, any PW member know on cylinder testing, or could I sell with no test, ? Hello, buy a short barrel no rib 20 g pump action shotgun and fit one of the screw on hush power silencers from hush power.co.uk, and remember to only use felt wad cartridges, you may find the sight view different over silencer but you can get a carbon fibre rib you glue on ? Hello, before you decide on the torch you mention take a look at the new laser I/R torches, they come in 850 and think 940 , 2001 and 2002 models, as what Dave G mentioned and he knows his stuff on torches, and night vision, I have a T38 with I/R L e D pill on a Photon and tried this new model in 850 Nm hence the 38 is redundant, I use 18650 flat top battery and figure of 8 thumb screw torch clamp,

Hello, have you read the Art of Shooting by Ruffer , ? Back in the 1970s when most used a side by side, I used a barrel sleeve with index finger in same postition, thumb and third finger holding both sides of sleeve, it give a better forward movement of the gun and goes into the shoulder in one go, if you look at this book he shows the way to use both eyes to only see the bead and target, holding the forend to far back will alter the sight plain, well that is what most I know did back then, he also mentions the Churchill style rib, and short barrels being more pointable than those 30 inch on a lot of English shotguns, now saying all this I know 2 people who still use a side by side, one was a champion clay shot and a cracker on skeet, the other a crack shot on pigeons and still is, I can only put my self average despite shooting 1000s of cartridges over 50 plus years 🤔😁, adding that I went over to an O/U mid to late 1980s ,

Hello, just to say scarter if your Tikka has a weaver rail, you could look at a ZB lite mount, just got mine and looks the bizz , I just need a pair of short dovetail to weaver mounts from Ant supplies, having tried the sportsmatch adjustable and shimming , the ZB s should do nicely 👍
