  1. Comparing Browning factory Invector Plus chokes with Teagues actual measurements - factory chokes are more open: 1/4 - Browning: 0.004, Teague: 0.010; 1/2 - Browning: 0.012, Teague: 0.020 3/4 - Browning: 0.018, Teague: 0.030 1/1 - Browning: 0.031, Teague: 0.040 If you have Teague tapered choke key you can compare the actual restrictions yourself. In praxis - with 1/2 (0.20) you are already well in the tight territory i.e. you don't get much by using 3/4 or 1/1...IMO
  2. Intersting - account was suspended - looks like things were noted... Btw - I was contaced by a gentleman that was scammed by them for 10K € a month ago...
  3. Thank you gentlemen - I will continue to follow this topic with great interest and hope to pay you back with any info from my parts if needed. Hello Walker - I believe you were here : http://www.prmaticku.si/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=54&lang=en I know the owner personally and I have no doubts you had great time.
  4. Hello all. I am looking for info about Shooting Services Limited by Anthony Jonathan Laws: http://www.shooting-services-limited.co.uk/index.html Looking at their Sale offer I find some reasonable prised items offered: http://www.shooting-services-limited.co.uk/q-line-clays.html Anyone dealt with them? Thank you.
  5. Hankook Dynapro A/T M RF 10 Toyota Land Cruiser
  6. Schmokinn over at Shootclay is selling them: http://www.shootclayforum.com/index.php?/topic/20627-fsteague-inv-extended-chokes/
  7. I had an Ultra Trap - that is beside the lettering the same gun. As others said - check if it is a Sporter (multichokes and sporter forend) or Trap (fixed 3/4 and 1/1 with trap forend). Then see the action blueing - I've seen discoloration on some, but the gun is made to last so it doesn't affect its shooting value. And I'd second Gordon's oppinion on handling - there are moments when I dearly regret selling it.
  8. I am not sure about the barrels - 70 has overbored barrels as well, true on height of the comb + 38 has adjustable trigger
  9. Godon I believe this is the upper one. I had the same issue with mine - see pic. I have taken it (both actually) out and polished it - works like a charm since.
  10. At 40m with Miroku MK70 and factory flush chokes, 36g Hull High Pheasant Xtreme #4 plaswad - 1/2 choke (107 pellets inside 30"), - 1/1 choke (123 pellets inside 30"). As of numbers - Hull PHX pellet size is bigger than usual (#4=3.25mm).
  11. Here is how I see it. There are close (20 yds-) to far (40 yds+) targets. Using sensible choke (1/4 - 1/2) most modern cartridges will pattern just fine between 25-35 yds. It is at -20yds (some) and at +40yds (more) differences appear. At the end one finds a general cartridge/choke combination that covers either close/mid or mid/far targests and will try to fill the missing void of close or far cartridge. So looking fo "close" carridge I pattern it at 20yds while looking for "far" cartridge I pattern it at 40 yds.
  12. You are good to go - if still in doubt see: http://www.teaguechokes.com/news/is-it-safe-to-shoot-with-one-flush-choke-in-one-barrel-and-an-extended-choke-in-the-other/
  13. Best way is to have your barrels reblued but as a temporary fix - cold blueing could do - if done properly makes up quite nice - it wears off eventually so it must be renewed after time http://www.ballistol.de/80-1-Klever-Quickbrowning.html or https://www.birchwoodcasey.com/Refinishing/Metal-Finishing/Perma-Blue%C2%AE-Liquid-Paste-Gun-Blue.aspx
