I have actually been looking at going back to paper. Not a lot of choice, but surprisingly not a prohibited price. On aside note I work in a industry that uses plastic, and it is a serious pain in the **** finding a way to get it recycled. Cool?

I agree with Bluebarrels. Personnally I can see the argument on both sides. I am sure that someone will come up with a suitable and realistic opion, that is commercially viable to replace plastic and I look forwards to that day. Near to where I am there is a very large commecial shoot. At the end of the season employ people to walk the fields and collect the plastic wads/cartridges. I have not seen it but I was told by the keeper of a neighbouring shoot that they fill a skip with the wads. It is after all down to your personal prefrence. Me personally if I can avoid using plastic I will, but if I am using steel, or looking to improve a pattern density then plastic it is.

Cheers guys. I am in the middle of moving house so everything is on hold at the moment, but I will start reloading as soon as the dust has settled. I use the RC21gram, they performs very well, if they are not available I fall back on Gamebore Regal 25gram 5s. I tend to use the 28 for woodland and hide shooting.

Yes it is patterned it the other day, very happy. Thank you ?. It will be my carry gun when out and about, and on beaters day when picking with the dogs. As I have mentioned in a previous post my lad uses a 16o/u and swears by it. I am surprised that it went out of popularity. They are a nice weight gun with a cartridge that can give you all the results of a 12. Even now when we are at the clay ground people raise there eybrows when learning it is a 16.
