  9. It is wise to get to know your neighbour. After all you are the one with The Harrier Delux SBS Semi and Bettinsoli. You can never tell how some people will react.

    beretta 686

Use to have a 686 mc sporter when I was 18 (a long time ago). Best gun I every owned doubled woodcock with it. Then like an idiot ran short of cash and sold it to a friend. Been trying to recapture that gun, don't think I ever will.

    Fire

There seems to be an unhealthy habit in our society to find someone to blame. Reports say that the nextdoor neighbour saw the fridge on fire because the front door to the flat was open. Do I know if this is true or not.. NO. Was the cladding substandard, or up to spec.. I don't know. Where the Alarms malfunctioning /inaudible I don't know In truth nobody knows anything yet. As a nation we should stop looking for quick fix and find someone to blame, and let the authorities do there job without media and public pressure, so they can come to the right conclusion. What I know, is that I am sickened by the way the media has reported this tragedy, and have appeared to appoint themselves as Judge Jury and Executioner. IMO the PM did the right thing. A leader of a party should have the good cence to meet people who are greiving in private and not in front of the media.
  14. The reason for the breach flag was 2 fold. 1) to show the breach is empty 2) Although the breech can be open, you do not know if there is a cartridge in the mag. Therfore the breech flag prevents the bolt being accidentaly shut and loading one up the spout.

    a very sad day.

My sincere condolences to you and your family
  16. Place the safety flag in the breech when you take it out of the cabinet.
  17. Hi Grange The bits I liked, nice ergonomics, trigger felt good. loading was easy. The bits I didn't like:- When the hammer drops there is only what I can describe as a horrible resounding twang, which set up such a vibration it distorted the view through the scope. For some reason the rifle pulled slightly high left on shot, this is of course detrimental to a quick follow up shot. Grouping was not the best 30 yrds .177 1" to 2". I am not setting myself up as an expert. The rifle I used was not mine and just one I borrowed to have a go. If I am honest I am realy dissapointed because I like the look and feel, but I could not live with that noise/vibration.
  18. Daystate Air Ranger .22 FAC no matter what I tried I could not get the rifle to group at any range. It had a nice trigger
