I have an L200 K74 4D56 2005, i had some oil in the coolant, so i drained and flushed the coolant system. Re filled with fresh coolant and have driven it for about 110 miles, upon inspection there is a small amount of oil in the header tank and under the radiator cap. nothing drastic but theres a bit there. My first thought was head gasket, but could there still be oil in from the last lot of coolant? Is the turbo liquid cooled and could there be a mixing of fluids there? The truck runs fine, no overheating issues, no smoke either. Any info greatly appreciated

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get an aftermarket stock for the howa 1500 mini action, i have a new .223 and its no longer short action but this new mini action. The short action stocks do not fit which is a shame, TIA

i can confirm it was a duff battery, got a YUASA 3000 for £75

just tested voltage again after driving for around 30 miles at midday, it stands at 12.88volts, i have disconnected batt and will see if it starts in the morning, I'm hoping it is just the battery. Priced up a Varta battery for £77, doesn't seem to badly priced, any other recommendations?

just checked battery voltage again after 1hour, its now at 12.95volts, will try disconnecting tonight and see what happens in the morning.

did this sell? any more info?

i own a 2005 L200 warrior, 95k on the clock. This week out of the blue it failed to start, flat battery. Took the battery out put it on charge over night, re-fitted and it fired straight away. Next day flat again, wouldn't fire. So have done the usual tests, battery straight off charge 13.6v, alternator charging 14.7v, parasitic draw initially 51.3mA after 5 seconds 13mA. I will check standing voltage again in a few hours to see if voltage has decreased. Any ideas? knackered battery?? thanks in advance

is this for the older short action or newer mini action?
