  1. Just popped up on my news feed Britons could get ‘earlier access’ to state pension payments in Jeremy Hunt’s Budget (msn.com)
  2. We all know the root cause of the problem, a shambles of a Government soon to be replaced by what could be a even bigger shambles of a Government. Migration is not the problem but its a big £24 billion in four years part of the problem! The whole benefits system is flawed in this country but ask me if who I would rather receive benefits in the UK, someone who has contributed to the system for over 50+ years or someone who has just rocked up and not paid a penny. Any answer other than the first person is just insanity.
  3. 1.3 Million immigrants claiming benefits in the UK presently a total of £24 Billion spent on benefits for immigrants since 2020, your definition of relatively small differs from mine!
  4. Ummmm because somebody will have to pay. People on furlough haven't paid taxes for 3 months and have been paid 80% of their wages to sit at home, whilst non furlough have paid taxes, gone to work everyday and will probably have to now pick up the cost ! Cant comment on "most people" would rather had been at work but I can comment that I would have rather been on 80% and sat at home sunbathing.
  5. Both myself and my wife have continued working throughout as we are both classed as essential workers. I'm not going to lie, but its been a real kick in the nuts coming home everyday to see neighbors on furlough sunning themselves in the garden, having BBQ's and general treating the whole time as a paid holiday. I just hope when the Goverment claw the furlough money back via tax increases they remember the people that have continued to contribute keeping the country going throughout this period and some sort of tax breaks are given...........cant see it happening though 🙄
  6. Hesgoals, excellent site, easy to use and once you get past the first pop up there are no more for the remainder of the game.
  7. M5 between Cribbs and Avonmouth always loads just behind the barriers escapees from the deer farm, dread to think what would happen if they venture over the barriers ?Also had a dead one on Kings Weston Lane near Avonmouth a few weeks back, more in around towns than we realise.
  8. A few organisations have been contacted, a link to the news report is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-35134740 there was a similar situation with private lake in Bristol a few years back, AT and the EA were both contacted and it still went ahead (just carp in that case) the EA actualy helped advice and disposal of the fish in that case !
  9. Right Guys just heard Bristol City Council are intending to remove the fish and have them killed from the lake that I posted a link from a few months back. I would appreciate it if you would take a minute to sign the petition to stop this crazy decision. I wonder if the anti in the clip will sign ? https://www.change.org/p/bristol-city-council-stop-the-proposed-euthanasia-of-fish-in-bristol-s-st-george-s-park?recruiter=439897678&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=sms
  10. Decent catch reports for the area on this forum. http://s10.zetaboards.com/Veals_Mail_Order/forum/64457/
  11. Agree he was and appologised, but not sure where he fished would have made a difference to the lady as she was anti fishing full stop, which was the point of me posting the link. And for the record I know the lake(its not your average fishery) in question and if it wasnt for the anglers it would be devoid of any wildlife, the no fishing area is very tiny and if you watch the video you can still fish too the area from "the line painted on the floor" .
  12. Guy handled his self really well and just goes to show the ignorance shown by some people. 20:00 min Regards
