If you just want the gun for plinking tinnies in the back garden then the 1077 is the way to go,great fun you can let off 12 shots in about 3-4 seconds.As for the power loss if you shooting over say 10 metres it shouldn't reallty make any difference.I've had mine for about 10 years and never had a jam and always enjoy shooting it,i've since past it on to my son to use and he thinks that it is great too.As for accuracy i've never found it to be an issue regarding the Crosman.Try this site Crosman 1077

I don't think you can get them in .22 anymore,unless you buy second hand.I had one in .177 anout 20 years ago and with the butt extention they are exellent for hunting things like maggies upto 20 yards and very accurate.Make a racket though so if your shooting in the garden it may upset your neighbours

I saw a programme on tv about people paying to go big game hunting,they had to wait for about four days before they got the perfect shot.Like mentioned before the meat went to the local tribe so there is no waste,but when its edited down in video to make it look like that was all done in an afternoon it doesn't make make it easy to watch and it's not my cup of tea. I have for sale a Gamo 400 junior in .177.Exellent condition bought it for my son and he don't want to carry on shooting so need to sell.It has only fired about 250 pellets,very simular to Bsa Meteor but made in spain (like the new Bsa's),gun don't come with scope it has been put on another gun of mine. I am asking £100 collected or £110 posted.

The same website puts the Ratcatcher at £200! so prices seem a bit toppy! And a smith&wesson at £250
