  1. I thought bagged charges were bigger. We all learn on this site.Biggest on our ship was 4.5 inch or missiles.
  2. I'm tempted to go down the naval gun due to its size.Just a guess though.
  3. Bahco are pretty good i believe I have a lot of britool and gedore sockets that have had a lot of use heavy use in some cases and they are fine.i have 1/4,3/8,1/2 and 3/4 drive.some I have used on Air impact guns do show signs of wear on the square of the drive. They are 40 yrs old though. Really I should have used specific impact ones as they are made for that specific task.So if I did it all over again I would buy impact sockets as I needed them. It really is down to what they are used for.
  4. I go beachfishing but now only use decent fixed spool reels. I struggled with a multiplier as I usually fish at night. If you get a birds nest you'll spend most of the session untangling. I make my own rigs now but they are cheap enough to buy.i have one baited ready under the tripod and just change them over it saves time and you can present the baits better as you bait up the one at the ready.Above all just enjoy it.You don't have to cast to the moon to catch fish.ive caught loads about 10 yards out.

    First cut

We called them grass hooks. there used to be lengthsmen doing the Dyke tops and sides every year. They kept the water flowing thus draining the fields. They were brilliant with two handled scythes.Ally shafts with adjustable wooden handles. They cut it with certain precision all was really neat when they had done. They were council employees.

    First cut

After persistent rain for what seems months. I cut the lawn for the fist time this morning.Put the mowers away in September serviced them over the winter. The rotary came out this morning started 2nd pull.Anyway a fairly high cut was done to get some form of level. Will fork it all soon and all should be good. It's still very wet so the cylinder mower will not be out for a while. Thinking about all the farmers. They are so far behind with sewing.
  9. I used to have one years ago the plain action version it shot extremely well and was always a talking point.Wish you were closer.

  14. Thanks for the info.Wasnt sure if it had changed.
  15. So here we go. Someone on X formally twitter believes the birds of prey were shot with a shotgun Obviously they know more than anyone.
  16. The other thing really wrong with this is what a complete waste.
  17. Reading the article from the link seems like poachers. But I hope it's sorted soon as this poaching and coursing is getting out of hand. Its not the romantic notion of one for the pot.Which a lot of non rural folk seem to think it is.Much bigger picture behind it all.Im sure somewhere someone will try to include shooting.
  18. Yes it certainly wasn't as expected.England played proper test match Rugby and MS drop goal was just what was needed Brilliant game.
  19. Quite true Courier companies are taking over a lot of stuff. We get a lot of deliveries at work by various ones hardly anything from royal mail compared to what they used to bring.A lot of the couriers are quicker and often cheaper.
  20. That will effect a lot of businesses if its true.depends on the definition of bladed items. How on earth can this be logical.
  21. When I use my ageing air cooled stick welder it quite often takes out the breaker. Not all the time, but often enough. Are the inverter stick welders likely to do the same as they seem a lot smoother to use?
  22. Fantastic gun. I have my 101 in the same case.
  23. Anyone had any experience of the percussion ramboulet I split my old wellies on the last day of the season and they have been recommended to me.
