  1. The screwfix ones are good I have one in our back garden.Loads of white light.
  2. If I remember correctly it's the barrel selector.
  3. Very nice. That will do up nicely.I didn't think they did 3 inch .410's in the 30's so I have learnt something else tonight.
  4. Not sure about a moderator but I did use them through a rifled barrel.TBH they were fairly ****.Shot a few pigeons out of the tractor window that were about 6 foot away.killed them but I think I was lucky.
  5. Panacur used to work for us in the water.
  6. Yes done it and it's quite easy but took a while to clear.Have a look online for the best recipe. Mine was from an old book but I don't know where it is. There is an excellent UK forum also. That has recipes on it.

    Mice!!

I have had considerable success with the self set metal ones in the past Little nipper traps never seemed to get many for me.What type are those in the picture?
  8. Excellent. What bearings did you put in the idler wheels?
  9. I always buy our paint from a local decorators supply shop. The paint is far superior in quality than b &q the difference is immediately noticeable.I too have painted over terracotta with no problems. Good quality rollers certainly help and I find a paint scuttle better than a tray. You can load the roller better

As pigeon shredder says you would get several from wabbitbosher for half the price of a new one I have two a s x s and o/u both are like new and have had loads of use. Never had a problem with either of them.
  11. Is it oiling ok? How old is the chain?if it's getting hot or you are cutting very dry seasoned wood it may stretch. That's what I was told so I kept my chains sharp and ensured plenty of oil was feeding along the bar and chain.
  12. That looks really well made.Good looking too.
  13. Could just be me. But it looks quite dangerous.I am sure it's well run and the shooter is safety conscious. Ricochets could be an issue with a badly placed shot.
  14. Could it be sedum.Which has small flowers later in summer.
  15. Welcome. You will certainly pick up plenty of info on here. But be careful the site is very addictive.
  16. This is the thing of wizardry.Great thread though as ever.Jaw dropping work.
  17. I totally agree. I've learnt so much on here and am in awe at some of the work that goes on,on here.
  18. I bought a really good set from toolstation. Nicely made but I cannot recall the sizes.Have a look at their website the sizes will be on.Sorry cannot ,don't know how to put a link on.
  19. Early 80's for me kicked like a mule.fired flames from the barrels like a mortar.confetti and smoke everywhere. But hell they killed whatever you shot at.
  20. Sunday morning in Lancashire Not a lot but would have frightened them.
  21. If it's the type as above leatherman wave for me.Brill piece of kit.
  22. Lovely looking bench. It looks nice in oak. Was it hard to work with? The curves look spot on.
  23. As above. They are good for the money and cheap enough to throw when done. I bought a dewalt 8mm singly it was expensive and didn't last as long as the screwfix one.
  24. Wonder if the NFU and DEFRA will get behind the shooters who after all do sterling work on crop protection for no cost to the farmers.
  25. Me to. Just the one a folder non locking.I used to carry an opinel but since the law changed I don't carry it all the time now.
