They are a sort of tan colour. Just the clean way it killed them at a pretty good height.Unless my shooting was pure brilliance which I doubt.

Found these at the back of my ammo safe last week had them years by heck they don't half bring pheasants down. They came from the original Malmo. Must be 20 yrs old.

I have nearly finished doing the stock and metalwork on a weirauch springer it has a v sight on the back and what's left of a hooded front sight on the front. It's to try to get a 13 year old into shooting.I was asked if I could do anything with the rifle by his dad. It had been in a shed for years and was red rusty. After a lot of wire wooling and soaking in diesel its looking pretty good. The woodwork i have stripped back and stained. I was wonderIng if anyone had a cheap telescopic sight that I could put on to start him off plinking.Nothing fancy just something simple.

The more I look at it I think it's off something I used to own.Could it be the frame off a vicon till sower. The waggly tube one not the disc spreader.circa 1970's

Mine are I socks and I too have never had any rust. They are all coated with a light film of oil.Just like things to be belt and braces that's all. Do you just place the sachets on the bottom of the cabinets?
-
Following on from the cabinet heater post.I have never had any problems with damp in the cabinets, but I was wondering about the effectiveness of the VP 90 sachets.More of a preventative measure. My guns were soaked through after clay shooting in a deluge that wasn't expected.Whilst they were stripped and oiled, ejectors removed etc.Didnt remove the stocks though. Just wondered what they were like in use.

I have the side by side version in 3 " magnum. As ditchy said brilliant little gun

I got a similar one from toolstation, the one i got has a function that allows it to be hands free, just wave in front for on same again for off.I use it for beach fishing at night.USB rechargable and a good battery life on low.think it was a tenner as well.

Totally agree with browning123. However ridiculous it is.It is I suppose a distant possibility just think of the revenue it would generate.
