  3. Brilliant.I also used to watch it and taped them all on vhs sadly long gone as is Jack.Wonder if the full set will ever come out on dvd.
  4. Hi all.I'm looking for a clay vest that's based on a more traditional style and colour. Would like a couple of large back pockets and maybe some bellows pockets at the front. I would like something a bit traditional in colour and material has anyone any pointers please? Should have been green tweedy type. (@#$$%# predictive text)
  5. I've just used screwfix's own stripper on a varnished gun stocks chequering and it came off very well.the rest I removed with a stanley knife blade.but I appreciate you are doing a far bigger area.
  6. It's more than likely the device for anti syphoning our honda crv does the same.I have to turn the nozzle of the filler through 90 degrees and fuel goes in no problem if it's in the normal position it keeps knocking the pump off
  7. Brilliant thread ditchie. Is there nothing you cannot fettle?
  8. Used to shoot the trap version years ago.Twas like looking down the motorway at the target.Fantastic gun.
  9. I have a lot of Whitworth spanners.Quite lot of them are snail brand. Very tough indeed I also have a lot of King **** as well. They were not polished chrome but are very well made.Don't use them much now. They were for Atkinson and ERF wagons with Gardner 180 engines.
  10. Used to wear work clogs.Very warm in winter cool in summer toe protection was brass on the outside round the toe and external cap. There looked like work boots but had an apple wood sole.
  11. If it's 2 1/2 inch chambers 70mm cartridges are not safe.As for steel I personally wouldn't put them through it.My advice is take it to a gunsmith and see what there opinion is.
  12. Well I'm going to do another 4 Shotties over a period of time. so may just give them a try thanks for the info.
  13. Nice, simple and strong.Nothing not to like about them. I quite like using my single barrell webley and scott for rabbiting.
  14. I don't know how to add pics.Don't think Sorry they do mail oder and I don't have an e bay account. But it could be a future option.
  15. Update. (Sorry don't know how to put pics on here). The stock and forend have come up great with Danish oil.The reason I didnt use gun stock oil is its around 30 miles round trip to my usual gunshop and I'm just 5 mins away from ironmongers.I gave it 5 coats wire wooling between coats. Its really brought out some nice grain and if i scratch it i can just rub some more in.It was only £6.25 a tin. After such success I'm going to do the s X s .410 next.
  16. As others have said it was a well balanced view put across in the right way.Hopefully it may educate people who view us as Jodie Marsh first did.She seemed to understand at the end how shooting and conservation go together for the benefit of all.

    Tv soundbar

Just bought a new TV and we were advised to get a soundbar to enhance it as the fitted speakers are not the best. What do you guys recommend.Room is normal size.Don't want to spend fortunes.
  19. Good luck it's beautiful up there.
  20. It should stick.degrease the area first if you think it's oil soaked.if there's still some slack you could run another bead building up just enough to do the job.Too much and the fore end may crack whilst pressing on too hard.
  21. You could try a bead of silicone in the area that once had the contact let it dry and it should compress when you refit the fore end that may do it.
