  1. Anyone had any experience with Brocock and the concept s6 elite, I've no experience with this brand however tempted to try one for my son, from what I can see they have been around a long time but other than that the website doesn't try the hard sell and understates them in my opinion, worth the £540 or money better spent elsewhere.

    PCP FX

Well I've finally sorted the pcp issue and bought a stunning FX Cyclone Deluxe Carbine in .177 and boy is it lightweight. I've bought a number of rifles over the past few weeks and months before I found something that ticked the box. Found it in as new condition and at a decent cost considering they are pretty much £1000 new and they are regulated no no big power curves and at over 100 shots on full power that meets with what I wanted and it's an awesome rifle powerful lightweight and from what I can see very well built to a very high standard. I did buy a BSA Ulra SE which was a nice little rifle but at 40 shots per fill it didn't fit with what I wanted but a quality rifle for sure but the FX is in a different league in my opinion.
  3. What about brocock enigma they decent or not.
  4. Are they any good as one going cheap local to me or they **** and take too long etc etc, any quick advice before it sells would be great thanks. Rich
  5. Interesting stuff guys I've not found anything yet as I want a used version, is it worth considering a quality springer or not as a few around my area going cheapish
  6. Thanks for the input I've got plenty to consider and to see what's available in my part of the world, as yet nothing been suggested I'm not aware of or seen.
  7. What are the best lightweight pcp multi shot or I suppose single shot version, tried a HW100 today was lovely but unfortunately over the budget as this is for my son, I let him loose on his Logun s-16 today which is a beauty and for his first ever time shooting he impressed however it's a bit heavy for him and he struggled with its size as he is only 12 years old. Looking at picking something second hand and not new, budget wise around £300 but I'd like a quality trusted performer.
  8. That's a serious rifle I so wish you were local to me so I could try it, a little over my current budget but I'm sure going to try and find this in my budget.
  9. Cheers guys so many mixed reviews and priced at £170 second hand I'm not sure it's good value either mmm.
  10. Been offered one but are they any good are they still made how much were they new, can't find many reviews or the ones I've seen some love them some hate them lol so I'm lost. Thanks
  11. Cheers I've not jumped in and bought anything as yet so I'm happy to hang on a day or so.
  12. A bit out of my budget or I'd of taking it as you are from my area
  13. Thanks for the advice and I've tried to update my profile somewhat and I'm from Northumberland so possibly not many me members from up my way lol, I should have said back in the day I was a very keen shooter and I'm planning on shooting along with my son at the range and then onto some rabbits.
  14. Hi, I'm new to the forum and have a few questions and was hoping I could grab some advice from the experts on here, I bought my 12 year old son his first gun for Christmas with the idea of going to a local range and shoot some targets. I bought him a Gamo whisper fusion which I picked up from a guy local who bought it and didn't use it so got a bargain and to date it's only been out the box once and not used, the gun requires a scope so which should I get as I don't want to spend massive money yet still want something decent. The other option is to buy another rifle second hand with a quality scope already on it, had a look around and there are options out there but I'm unsure if the Gamo Whisper Fusion is suitable for the range and what would be a better up grade. Not looking to spend too much money but Ive seen rifles around £150 to £200 with decent quality optics already on it but what's the best option would you say. Thanks
