    Cancer

I lost my mother earlier year to an aggressive form. One of the positives we took was the opportunity to say what you wanted to each other before she passed. Some folks don't get that chance. Good luck.
  2. I have a couple of kilos spare of the evo 3 in BB .... PM me if you're interested.
  3. Pleased you got sorted ... I've got a couple for my 101 Waterfowl and they seem to do the business.
  4. https://www.brownells.co.uk/epages/UK.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/UK/Products/54802155000203/SubProducts/155000206 Try these, or others from Brownells ..... I believe winchokes and Invectors are the same thing ....
  5. Cos he's got £400 to spend I guess .... not many 2nd hand SX4's for that .....
  6. I had one of the first ones out many years ago ... picked it up in the shop, and had to have it ... handled beautifully. I never had an issue with it, but mine was one of the ones that was due the free upgrade. I had most of the internals changed and the action refinished foc.... Overall it shot pretty well and I only changed it as I fell in love with a Perazzi. I've shot one of the higher rib ones recently and that felt great. Reckon the bottom line is "try before you buy ..."
  7. They can go nuts for young rape at this time of year ... a great bag .. and a fantastic night sleep after that too I'll bet !!
  8. These are kicking around... £6 posted.
  9. Having sorted out my master eye issues, I have the following that may help someone... There are several used Browning magic eye bits, the big sheet was shipped over from the US, and there are 4 low strength Shotspots also. Also included is a handy black ring that helps positioning. £10 posted.
  10. Saw some empties at my local ground too!
  11. Don't underestimate the benefits of a few rounds of skeet. That should get you used to seeing some space ahead of the target. If you start with your gun ahead of the clay it won't 'disappear' either.
  12. ... and now.... the end is near .... CONGRATULATIONS .... try just to do it once though
  13. No problem then ..... keep asking the questions, best way to learn
  14. I couldn't quantify it ... but it doesn't do us in the fieldsports world any harm that our Royals also partake.
  15. It sounds like they're working correctly to me .... they only rise a little to get your nails underneath. If they were not working at all, the chamber face, ejectors and the cartridges would be flush.
  16. With the recent weather you can leave it in the sun ... every 20 mins or so there will be plenty that's oozed out to wipe off. Even cheaper than chips
  17. TT ... I can see how you would be concerned. How many folks do die where a legal tread depth was implicated as the root cause? Surely if this is a structural issue then the law should be changed?
  18. Waiting for a rainy day to do some loading ... not missing fowling in this heat !!
  19. I normally change only when absolutely necessary i.e. 1.6mm left (still try to do it in pairs). I even buy part worns, if I know I've a change of vehicle coming up.
  20. More evidence of this at the weekend ..... English Open All Round won on 99/100 European UT Champs in Lonato won by Ed Ling on 199/200 200 ABT at Beverley won by Ian Peel on 197/200 Perazzi Grand Prix won on 196/200 Top shooting there !!
