Another great shoot, the weather was kind to us and turnout was good, I was kept busy keeping all the traps filled. Looking forward to the next one Sunday 15th November

Leadbrook Hall 100 bird sporting clay shoot is on again this coming Sunday 18th Oct. Opens 0930hrs, refreshments including bacon/sausage bap & burgers are available on site. First shoot 1030, last book in 1330hrs. Brilliant setting and great scenery for this varied sporting layout. Fibre wad only as it is run on a working farm, cartridges available on site. Easy to find, CH6 5ST in sat nav takes you up Leadbrook Drive, Oakenholt, Flintshire. Carry on through gate and follow signs up the track to the shooting ground on the right.

What a shame, I missed the chance to go to the CLA this year, and was looking forward to next year's. I had heard that the Midland was poor in comparison, but missed that this year also, so just going on what other people have said. I agree though, the ticket prices are way to high and put a lot of people off. Have the event on a convenient weekend when people are less likely to be either away on holiday, or just returning from it and skint, and bring the ticket prices down, and perhaps more people will attend !
