  1. @ratchersyes it was uncomfortable, you had to mould yourself to it at 6' and yes it did want to sit up if you opened to taps in a right hander.😁 Wasn't really happy below 80 and she'd have a little drift when pushed. What a bike. 😍 I.O.M in 1990 for the GP.

@BobbyHcurrently using an old(er) Steyr conveted to 22. We're a special breed 22's in hft, stubborn or stupid I haven't decided yet.

Ideally I want to get something with diopter sights just for a bit of interest.

    Have a word with @ditchman

He did an post on a diopter sighted springer if I remember correctly. Very nicely done job it was too.

The FWB 300(?) was a side lever operated spring gun with diopter sights and a recoiless action. But has been mentioned 6ftlb only and heavy as.

Factory probably TX200 but a bit heavy for hunting, a SFS Tuned HW99 would be a good choice.

Not that Im a boinger but doesn't the wight absorb the recoil bit like a sporter shotgun. Guess Scottie was right....

  5. There were variants of the 1200's which had detachable magazines. Basically a M98 mauser, if I remember correctly, bottom metal and magazine conversions are available. But speak to the folks recommended in the above post first.

I'd be interested in seeing the results if you go down this route.

it's also done it to me twice since i've been a member (which is only a couple of weeks) and i did exactly the same as you.

if you've saved your preferences how does it keep having a pop to change 'em again?

No idea, it's doing it again after a week even though I saved my preferences. Putting me off bothering to visit the site tbh
