  1. VAR 832x42M is an 8-32x42AO scope. 1" tube with tactical turrets, nice positive clicks, 1/4" 1 click, with a chunky mil dot ret. Focus ring marked in Meters and Yards. £40 bogof offer gets you a deben hawke nite eye for free. Its an AO6.5-20x50IR (working) it has no turret caps but the ones from the above scope fit. Pic on request by pm. Price does not include postage. I'm based in Sussex and shooting hft most Sundays. No paypal bank transfer or cash on collection only. These are pcp air rifle scopes.
  2. Is indeed a great price and especially if you've also advertised it elsewhere I can't see this hanging around long. Are ther any regimental stamps on the butt disc or bayonet? These might be worth mentioning? A close up of the wrist stamp too but you did say any more photos... They don't come up in this condition very often, the very best of luck.

Really depends on the gun doesn't it. My 22 steyr runs 620fps but is so loud I'm contemplating ear plugs. Never had a problem with an AA.
  4. I've recently been trying contact lenses. Daily lenses are very reasonable.
  5. As above I use a napier pull through with ballistol. Followed by enough clean patches to come out clean. MPR S400 barrel needs a clean every couple of tins, same with the S410 22. Steyr 177 needs a clean each time it's used, HW100 22 I don't know yet. It's brand new and I'm learning what it likes. They get cleaned when the groups open up. Edit With an AA S410 you may want to turn the rifle up so the cleaning solution doesn't run down the transfer port. Pop a couple of empty shots down just to clear it through.
  6. Chap in our club has a ShtLE converted to 410. He uses brass cases to shoot round ball.
  7. Looks like the barrel has been drilled by someone who knows very little about drill speeds, pilot holes etc, with a large drill bit. Then, as someone earlier suggested, a C spanner has been used. Note 2 pairs of slip marks clockwise. Very dodgy.
  8. Think mine is mildot Stu but I'll let the op confirm
  9. For SaleSilver Leupold with butler creeks and sports match mounts.Excellent glass with amazing depth of field.Fitted with TMX half mil dot reticle true at 8xFront element carrier has been release to allow parallax adjustment£350.00 face to face at Southern Hunters or one of the comps on generally every weekend in the south eastPost at buyers risk.
  10. Same, HL for me too doubled up with in ear plugs. Only downside is having lift the right side every couple of stands to stop it clonking on the comb. Better than ringing ears for 2 days though.
  11. Think yourself lucky, we have 22's running 625 with the lightest pellets we can find!
  12. Seen some of these pics before and I'm guessing it's a trick of perspective that makes it look like the woman is discharging a flame thrower on a petrol station. The second last pic explains why they're all getting ready to fill their trousers.
  13. The Parker Hale 1200TX has a flatted bolt just as described. Google some pictures. It works very nicely.
  14. Mate had one a while ago. He and I enjoyed shooting it and there were never any problems with it. However when he went to trade it in the dealer didn't want to know, and we are talking 3 or 4 years ago. He sold it privately for a good price but the dealer wouldn't touch it.
  15. That's a simple solution that I'm going to steal.
  16. I use sportsmatch and mount the scope straight into the mounts
  17. Would anyone happen to have a lyman electric lead melting pot in a dusty alcove that their not using? Just started using a BP rifle and fancy casting my own minies. Thanks
  18. I believe he is still under investigation so I doubt they'd risk it.
  19. They were on honeysuckle, lavender, buddleia and verbena.
  20. We had them in the garden again this year and her indoors bought plants to encourage them in as we liked them so much. At one time we were getting up to 4 at once.
