  1. Ended up getting two of the Hamilton slip stands as Solware gave us a great deal (2 for £120) when I bought Mrs G's new gun. Hope they're as sturdy as they seem. Still fancy leather but will wait for 'summer'!
  2. This is my gun chaps, I've just checked the date code (BS) which indicates 2002 I believe.

Amputate it - job done. Although it sounds as if you've already tried!!

  11. Gun now sold. Pleasure to meet and do business with you Steve. Hope you enjoyed our hilly shoot this morning!
  12. Yes. It will also download the latest os which has had an update to correct 'issues' arising from the previous update!
  13. I've got two pairs of the Aldi ones, the palms and fingers quickly shred on chequering.
  14. well they would be dressed up if they're 'costumers'!!
  15. Longevity is an issue with these expensive gloves. I've had a pair of MacWet summer gloves for about 3 months and they're already showing wear from the chequering. I also overheard the guy on their stall at Midland gf advising not to wash them as they would 'last longer'. Not inspiring!!
  16. Do you want an umbrella with that love??
  17. Cheshire (I think), near Macclesfield south of Manchester.
  18. I don't know what your gun is but my ex section 1 s/a is gas operated and has a piston/rod which operates the mechanism. It's a small and easily carried part which is unidentifiable as part of a gun and without which the gun is single shot/unusable. Removal of this along with the other measures you highlighted I would consider as reasonable.
  19. That's the best. Grown in the garden, distilled by the village witch doctor. Don't get better than that!
