  1. Now let's be clear that's a lovely gun I wish you all the best with it and hope you enjoy it. But for me that wood doesn't look too clever perhaps it's the photo but it does look like transfer wood to me.
  2. Does that actually work? Seen a few crazy rednecks doing it but it looks dodgy!
  3. Been sitting on a slab of gamebore buffalo's 36gram BB pattern horribly but would do ok for invading zombie hordes. Failing that an SMLE .303 would be my choice.
  4. I'll be honest I bought one for my son and it was pretty awful. The bolt jammed regularly and it patterned terribly. Sold it for 20 quid and bought a Webley bolt 410 which was way better.
  5. Bought a Beretta 302 a couple of weeks ago for 250 quid as like you I wanted a cheap auto for pigeons and the odd clay outing. Have to say for a 1980s era gun it's a really nice bit of kit handles well and cycles 28 gram carts perfectly so far.
  6. A MK70 is the gun I regret selling the most of all the guns I've owned. Definitely will get another one at some point.
  7. A little leather shim in the forend housing has worked perfectly it's now rock solid with no play at all.
  8. I am happy to do that Westley when the new one arrives impala59 PM me your details.
  9. Decent gun but as Westward said there have been some issues. I bought a brand new 692 black and went back after about 6 months with ejection problems.
  10. Yep we do, luckily I get them from work for nowt 😉
  11. Cheers figgy Not going to sell it as been after one for a while although I quite fancy an M2. Doesn't need any gunsmith attention at the moment as I spent the morning stripping it down and it's as clean as a whistle, so will enjoy shooting it for now!
  12. Thanks westley I was hoping to use it for a round of clays on Saturday but may leave it in the cabinet for fear of damaging it!
  13. Hi All Picked up a beauty of a Beretta semi auto today a near mint A302. It seems to operate somewhat differently to the Remington and Brownings I am used to (ie the bolt doesn't seem to lock back unless a little button on the feed ramp is pushed). Can anyone give me a quick few pointers on how to use it or point me in the direction of a user's manual? Planning to strip it down and give it a good cleaning tomorrow so again any tips would be very gratefully received!
  14. Personal opinion is a semi auto is not the way to go for a first gun especially if your inexperienced. I have seen at least 3 near misses with autos that could have ended up in disaster. Just my view but get an OU
  15. Is the blaster chambered for 3inch plasma cartridges?
  16. Interested but that’s a fair distance for me. I’ll have a think though
  17. Might be interested in a meetup, if its not too far.
  18. Let me know if you want to sell some of the cartridges I might be interested. I am about 10 mins from you.
  19. Another vote here for the Armsan has one for years and it never gave me any issues.
  20. You’ll learn from that and luckily it didn’t end in tragedy. I remember a time shooting clays on a friends land when when one of the shooters swung his loaded gun across me standing next to him to pick up a crosser, 15 years later I still remember that and shudder at the consequences. It happens and count yourself lucky that all was ok. don’t beat yourself up it will make you anal about safety just like I am after that experience.
  21. Hi all i have a Webley and Scott 920K multichoke and I want to buy a couple of extended chokes for it. They look like top threaded Mobil chokes but I can’t find anywhere to confirm that. Would anyone happen to know if these are indeed just bog standard Mobil chokes or something different?
  22. When I bought a miroku it had a label on the barrel that said “lead shot only” so worth checking that gun is ok for steel.
