  6. Seriously most FEO’s are trained to look beyond physical appearance and understand the person rather than the way they look. It’s worth getting some experience though and maybe being an active member of a clay club would help.
  7. Blimey if tattoos were a barrier to getting an SGC or FAC I would be taking up golf!
  8. The ATA Supersport is a cracking gun for the money. Mate bought one last month and I have to say having shot it a few times I am really impressed.

  13. Sorry mate didn’t realise yours was a multichoke!
  14. Wont be steel proofed and you need to look at the marking on the side of the barrels to determine the chokes. Here are the markings on my S686 Special I have circled the choke markings 1/4 and 3/4 in my gun (had it confirmed by a gunsmith, as they've often been opened up). Never shot steel through it though.
  15. Mine loves a drop of single malt so got a lovely bottle of Japanese Single grain for him.
  16. Just out of interest, what defines extreme pheasant shooting? When I have been game shooting I class lots of the birds as extreme and their not that high!
  17. Just the CPSA for me at the moment gives all the insurance that I need. I won’t support BASC as they are a waste of time as demonstrated earlier this year with the GL fiasco.
  18. Great video thanks for sharing, you look like you have gelled with that gun really well. As Walker said, i've started using my sons .410 a bit more for pigeons and I love it, I have had some really great kills and the little 19G shells really impress me and much nicer than lugging around my 12 bore. What cartridges are you using?
  19. Another vote here for the Yildiz, I have the junior stocked ejector version which I bought for my son. Apart from the top lever being VERY stiff to operate after having fired both barrels (wish I had bought the non ejector) for my son its a smashing little gun. I used it the other weekend for a walk around the permission stick on a leather stock extender and its a nice gun to wander around with. I have surprised how well 19G carts work on pigeons no complaints from me or the pigeons!
  20. Bought my son a Yildiz .410 ejector junior a while back and he’s getting on ok with it apart from one issue. The ejectors are so powerful they launch the little .410 empties about 10 feet into the air and the top lever is very stiff to operate when both barrels have been fired. I remember reading on one of the US based forums that its possible to cut the ejector springs down a bit to reduce the force of the ejected shells and make the action easier to open. Does anyone know if this is the case and as easy as just cutting a few coils of the springs or fitting lighter ones? From what I can see the ejectors come out like a beretta with similar cutouts on the monoblock.
  21. TSK stock, I know someone who has one on his beretta looks awful but feel amazing to shoot!
  22. Single 18650 LioN cell will do it, you can buy battery packs or just solder the terminal on and cover in heatshrink. This is the sort of thing https://www.batteriesplus.co.uk/acatalog/Panasonic-18650-3400mAh-3.7V-Button-Top-Battery-for-Video-Door-Bells.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu73y0Luh5gIVTLTtCh0VFAsoEAQYAiABEgKN-vD_BwE
  23. That makes sense, hope you enjoy it. Friend of mine bought one earlier this year for not much money and its a nice little gun, I keep thinking about getting one as a rough shooting gun might just treat myself!
