  1. Didn't think CCW was legal in Northern Ireland. Unless perhaps your military or law enforcement.
  2. Why would you want something like that? Seems a bit of military wannabee to me.
  3. Hi I used a scratch cover product from a company called Tableu on my silver kestrel sidelock and it's very good. Available in different shades to match the wood got it on amazon. Probably not a permanent repair but covers scratches very well!
  4. Hare for sure. Call me a softy but the screaming upsets me if you don't kill them outright.
  5. Report it to Ebay they are liable if it's counterfeit
  6. Always going to be more expensive buying by the box. Even the most expensive RFD near me does 28G 7's for about 45 quid for a slab (250).
  7. My Mrs uses gamebore evo 21G's in my winchester and gets on well with them. If it was my 9 year old I would use those.
  8. Have thought about it and used to reload all of my centrefire carts (6.5x55, .223 and .45 LC) but gave up when my reloading room was requisitioned for a nursery! Now sold all of my reloading gear unfortunately so would have to start from scratch. You got me thinking though....
  9. My main stash is in the loft, normally have around 500 - 1000 up there. My cartridge bag is kept full in the very top of a storage cupboard well out of the way as I am too lazy to go up into the loft every time I go out!
  10. If you've got power to it I have a spare power line adapter boxed and unused. PM me if you want the details.
  11. I did but despite my best efforts the bag was empty! Out again on Sunday with my newly serviced silver kestrel.
  12. Thanks for all the responses heading out now with a 100 compx carts in my bag.
  13. Depends where I set the hide up but 20 or 30 yards
  14. I have a last minute opportunity to go out for a few hours on the pigeons tomorrow but have run out of my usual 30g 6's. I have a slab of CompX 28 7.5's though and thought about using these. I reckon they should be OK if I keep to sensible ranges, what do you guys think?
  15. Brilliant! That post brightened my day. 😆
  16. Hopefully not a dumb question.... I have a set of Parker Hale cleaning rods made from aluminium (green handle one for shotgun use). Are these ok to use on an old side by side, that doesnt have chrome lined barrels? I am guessing that Ali is softer than barrel steel but just wanted to check! Cheers
  17. All fine mate i'll stick in the car Sunday and drop it in on my way home probably around 6pm... Hope its ok for you, glad its going to a good home...
  18. Sorry all this has now been sold. Thanks for the interest..
  19. Primarily a "fashion" brand now like belstaff. I use proper army surplus stuff which cheaper and well made.
  20. Simoniz etc and other waxes give some protection but the proper stuff for the job is "Renaissance Wax". It was specifically designed to protect items in long term storage and is used by the NRA in the US and the British Museum. Super stuff and works great if when you take your guns out in t he rain! http://www.picreator.co.uk/articles/3_renaissance_wax.htm
  21. Yep still here saddler if you want it
