  5. seems to me our universities could be a bit more diserning has to who they let in
  6. Always thought a gun is a gun no matter what cal, size is not really important. when bans take place all the bad stuff rolls downhill, next will be you dont need 308 for 1,000 yrd shooting just scale it down & use a .22 airgun , we should be like the yanks fight all restrictions because they tend to become bans. worreying
  7. think it is just a giant C clamp, thumbscrew goes on the table and the handle tightens up, should be a thumbscrew stop to go with it, hope this helps.
  8. Very high tech, just put some flutes in an empty coke can using your fingers and thumbs, then try crushing it in your hand,
  9. popped in to Webbers on Sat 15 and had a look at these new guns, they do look good, metal to metal fit is good so is wood to metal, not keen on the sling swivels but they are detachable and dont look too bad as the mount is slim line and rear stub can be unscrewed, i realy like the 20 bores so light and well balanced for me anyway,(i am only 5' 6) The Raven has a non slip finish which i found unuseual but it feels comfy in the hand,i can see this being good in the wet weather, all around i can see that they are good value, time will tell, he actually sold one the 12s on the first first day they where in the shop to a clay shooter, i think they have the edge over the Turkish guns,if you are passing its worth a visit if only to see his sons custom 20, its not for sale but is on display.
  10. 'cocking rods' are normally under permenant tension you need to have it looked at, it could be a number of things,
  11. think webber has one in his shop, Norgas cartridges
  12. there used to be a very good article on rifle cleaning by Parker Hale if you can still find it on the web, its a bit long winded as it explains what happens chemically inside the bore during and after firing, i edited it down just to the cleaning process and laminated it for the Army cadets who use 7.62 for there target rifles, hope this helps,
  13. whoops if so rixton & astley shooting club just off the East lancs road (A580) at rixton near Leigh directions and prices on the web or contact webber through PW or his shop Norgas cartridges.
