  1. Yes I was very fortunate to get one at a great price from a good reloading friend, it is rather rare they come up second hand unfortunately. Yeah a little more tricky to get set up but once done it puts out exceptional finished shells time after time. Put a wanted ad out on here and keep trawling ebay and the likes and one might come up 🤞🏻
  2. I'm using a PW 375 to reload for my 28ga and the reloads it produces are brilliant. Have a Mec Sizemaster for reloading my .410 and, whilst a very good machine, not having the full sizing collar that the PW has means that the case plastic isn't being resized after they have been swelled by the fibre wad. I'm probably going to sell the sizemaster and buy the tooling to reload .410 on my 375. It's not the fastest of machines but the quality and consistentency of the shells it produces are brilliant. I only use single stage machines myself so can't comment on any of the progressive machines. 👍🏻
  3. Yep still open every Sunday 10-12. Was last there a couple weeks ago. Fiver a round of 25birds, usually 4-5 stands. 👍
  4. Thanks very much for that DoolinDalton. I'll give John a ring and see if he's heading up this way any time soon. 👍
  5. Thanks for that Figgy. I'll have a look.
  6. If I don't get any other advise that will be my next step I guess...
  7. Hi everyone, I'm just about to start reloading for the 28ga and looking to reload 21-24 gram fibre loads. Have seen the 70mm recipes stated on Folkestone Engineering which look perfect, only snagging point is the powder being PSB2+SP, I don't know anywhere that stocks it where I am (Sheffield). Clay&Game only state they have PSB2 on their website.. Just wondered if anyone knew of somewhere in South Yorkshire or surrounding area that stocks PSB2+SP or has a similar recipe using either PSB2 or similar economical powder? Thanks, Spower
  8. Napier gun cleaning spray has always brought my Maxus piston up nice and clean after a few 100 have been put through it 👍
  9. Hi everyone, I'm after as many once fired 70mm 28 gauge cases I can lay my hands on if possible. If around South Yorkshire area that would be perfect but would be happy to pay postage costs for larger quantities further away. Many thanks, Spower
  10. Hi Alan, Apologise I had not updated my details on gunwatch. I have PM'd you. Gun is provisionally sold but if it doesn't go through then I will certainly give you first refusal. Thanks, Chris
  11. Hi Alan, Sorry I had not seen your message on gunwatch. I have replied to it now. Thanks, Chris

    Case Skiver

Just wondered if anyone has got a Case Skiver to fit a pillar drill they are no longer using or know of a tool which would do a similar job? Cheers, Spower
  13. Glad to hear you're happy with it Old Boggy. Here's to plenty of back ache free hours in the hide 👍
  14. As title says, I'm after a teague 3/8 light modified choke in invector plus if anyone has one they want to part with. Flush or extended. Thanks, Spower
  15. No problem. I stick the base and legs in my rucksack and then put the back rest through one of the straps on the outside. Takes up a bit of room but I've strapped a few things to the outside of my bag now to make the room. The extra comfort in the hide is well worth it. 👍
  16. Recently sold my swivel bucket seat for that same reason, after a couple of hours my back would be aching like mad. Decided to buy the commander seat at the shooting show this Feb. Used it a few times now and for comfort and supporting my back its a thousand times better than the bucket seat. Also being that touch taller it's easier to stand to take a shot. Not sure the exact weight but I wouldn't describe it as light, not very heavy but the legs do carry some weight. I pack it down into a 120 litre rucksack with all my other kit. Setting it up isn't too much hassle, just a wingnut to attach the legs to the base and then attach the back rest and it's good to go. Overall I'm really happy that I went for it and it's certainly comfy enough for 5+ hours in the hide. 👍
  17. I feel saddened that I wasted 7 minutes of my life watching it. What utter, utter tosh!
  18. Yeah it does look like it could be a fun little gun. Found a couple of videos on YouTube reviewing it in America, they call it the Tristar Viper G2 over there. Seems to be well reviewed and appears to cycle 2 1/2 and 3" shells no problem.
  19. Apologies for not replying on this. I forget to set it to notify me when someone replies. Net is sold. Bucket seat and Decoys provisionally sold . Thanks.
  20. I took the plunge and got fitted for some Emtec passive plugs at the shooting show yesterday after hearing good reports about them. Should be here in a couple of weeks. The price tag and potential for having to have battery changes/servicing was what put me off going electronic. I think cens recommends sending the electronic ones off annually to be serviced, at what cost I don't know?
  21. In the latest video he's switched to wearing Vario plugs. On their website it says they're coming soon so not sure what kind of price they'll be. They've certainly got lots of settings to choose from when he's demonstrating it in the vid.
  22. Only just found out about this gun. Looks like a nice little gun for mooching about with and using over decoys. Anyone got one as I'm wondering how they cycle shells? I'd most likely only be putting my 3" 18g reloads through it. Cheers
  23. Had a bit of a clear out of some decoy stuff. Camo bucket seat, great condition £15 Dozen pigeon decoys, used once £10 Camo Net 1.5m x 4m £5 Collection only from Sheffield, 5mins drive from jct 33 of M1. Cheers.
  24. Just show up, although it can get very busy at 10 so if shooting either by yourself or in a pair it's best to leave it until maybe 10.45 then you tend to get round with less waiting at each stand.
