  1. I see S&B are back. I remember using their paper cased cartridges in the 80’s, then they seemed to disappear.
  2. Sold, subject to payment and collection at the weekend.
  3. Thanks Gordon. One I will probably regret if it goes.
  4. We are probably all familiar with this model. Front trigger acting as a single trigger with the rear trigger giving barrel selection option. I am not exaggerating when I say this is like a new gun. No scratches or scuffs to woodwork or blueing. The chequering is sharp to the touch. Lockup is tight with the top lever at five o’clock. Slip included. Reason for sale I’ve just moved house, which will be temporary and I have just fitted a takedown cabinet so need the space. Face to face only, thanks. £150. LoP 141/2. Barrel length 28ins. Chokes 1/2 & Full. Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
  5. Wow, that brings back memories. On a cold winter’s evening we would have one going on the landing, this was 1960’s early 70’s. Also in the bathroom if anyone was brave enough.
  6. You could do with some more information. Length of pull, chokes, barrel length, all helps.
  7. Yes, I have heard good reports. They are on my to do list. Thank you.
  8. Trying to remember what people used before range bags.
  9. A.G. as in one time captain of England.
  10. Agreed, some ABT first before the fast and furious.
  11. Thanks. I didn’t know about Ombersley, just looked it up.
  12. Thank you and thanks for the very seriously tip, worth knowing. Think I need a few rounds of “regular” trap before giving O.T. a try, having just watched some YouTube footage.
  13. I started clay shooting many years ago at a trap oriented club. DTL, Double Rise, ABT. Having not shot clays for many years. I discovered the above discipline, which I would like to try it looks testing to say the least, very fast and wide angles. It’s more of a wanting to try it rather than taking it seriously. Any tip’s please, I am located in Shropshire. Cheers.
  14. I realise there isn’t much left of this season but having recently taken semi-retirement and with next season in mind. I am looking to make contact and pass on my details should a vacancy occur. Thank you. Phil. (Shrewsbury)
  15. I have the same model, purchased as a wet weather gun. They are well made and reliable.
  16. Under all that varnish there looks to be some nice timber. Baikal owners take note.
  17. Wow, what a contrast to my photo, thank you.
  18. I have had a look at the 700, unfortunately nice examples are in the 7,8, hundreds. Churchills of Dereham have a couple also close to me West Midland Shooting Ground which is £900 +. Appreciate the suggestion.
  19. Very nice. I bet the case could tell some tales.
  20. Thank you gents. I am pleased that I asked the question, I haven’t been to the shop in question for quite sometime, they often had guns on the shelves for sale on behalf of a customers. Possibly a customer has set an unrealistic price. I’ll give it a wide birth but look at the AYA No 2, some years ago I had a XXV, which I liked.
  21. Can anyone identify what model this is from the image please and if so perhaps you could give your views. Its advertised in a shop not too far from me as No 2 of a pair (via gun trader). I do miss not having a sxs and as I am on leave this week, may go and take a look. Thank you.
  22. Thank you, every day’s a school day.
