  1. A gunshop selling an air rifle has to send it to a rfd. A private seller can send an air rifle by PF48
  2. Anybody got one of these and what they think of them. Cheers.

  5. Just been reading that Germany says their outbreak is under control and one of the reasons is all the testing they have done Also read they you can get re-infected with corvid 19?
  6. I don't really understand the purpose of testing- to see whos got it? to see whos had it? how does this help?
  7. Got sparrows in again, very busy back and forward with dry grass etc. Have lost the last few clutches to a magpie so watching carefully.
  8. Already had my HW100 but always wanted a Huntsman Classic, just think they look so good, I would have had any calibre, just so happens that the first one I had chance to buy was another .20
  9. I use jsb exacts in my hw100 .20, they are excellent. I use H&N ftt in my Huntsman Classic .20, again excellent. Only got a .22 springer recently and have not had chance to experiment

  11. 500 hundred up. Was down at the farm for only the second time in two months due to the weather conditons(but have been controlling nearer to home)and bagged a grey wandering through the wood, and saw a second, so something to look forward to. Famer informs me apart from the crows and magpies queueing up to get his lambs, theres quite a few rats about. Gonna be an enjoyable few weeks ahead. 500
  12. Was a beautiful frosty morning today with lots of birds about, saw five roe deer before they saw me, a couple of hares and what I wanted, three greys which won't be seen again. 495
  13. Was out at my new feeder this morning. Its one where I can't sneak up but as I approached I spotted one near my hide and when I reached it two running round after each other. Got set up and within 5 minutes a large grey was on the feeder, sorted him out and 5 minutes later another ate his last, nowt after that but judging by the amount gone from the feeding box, theres more. 473
  14. Set up a new feeder at the pheasant pen last week and its been raided, have had to top it up twice already so thought I'd shoot it this morning and was rewarded with two greys. 372
  15. Twas a beautifil morning out in the wood and it got better when three greys ate their last. Perhaps they should have gone in to the adjoining field where there were hundreds of seagulls feeding, wonder what was about? hatching out? 368
  16. As you all know the weather has been awful but I have manged to keep the feeding boxes topped up. And at last a day with no wind and rain saw me out early, only one rolled up for breakfast for but they all count. 364
  17. Out this frosty morning on the feeders and I'm glad to say that two greys were to. 227
  18. Who knows, apart from english hallmarks its not an exact science and even those can vary a bit. Just looks similar in photos 2 and 3 on the 1800 link. The silver mark looks the same, the elephant? mark is similar, cant make the third mark out. When I first saw the bracelet I thought Persian or Indian so Egypt could be right. Sadly I cant find any better info than that. Keep exploring!
  19. Possibly Egyptain early 19thC. Some of the hallmarks tie in with some of the photos in the article. http://hallmarkwiki.com/?country=Egypt
  20. First one off the new feeder and another on the way back off the old feeder. 165
  21. This is a very old style connector block. The orange and white wires are your telephone line feed(green & black are spare), 50volts. No reason why you cant route these through the wall straight in to a master socket(if the cable is long enough) BT will charge to move or reroute any cable if this is a working line.
  22. Just for a change, shot one off a pheasant feeder this morning, there was one on my feeder but it seen me and jiggered off. 139
  23. Another two from the same feeder, they just keep on coming! 128
  24. Err.............isn't 117 and 4 = 121............. just saying, so current total should be 125. Was out topping the feeder up today and its empty so there's still some hungry little greys somewhere. Unless the peanuts have been blown away, a bit like some of the trees, keep yer hat on!
