Many of the newer generation vets simply reflect the modern disregard of the way of the countryside and its requirements. Anyone who has had pups docked at the correct age know there is no detrimental effect on that pup's wellbeing and causes at most, minimal distress or pain. I've had a couple of litters of GSP's and would not have had them if I couldn't dock them as my line will readily face cover and their tails would get wrecked.

Pretty bad timing for the nesting bird species , but hopefully this has been contained to the one area.

Probably juvenile/non-breeders who will hang around socially. Any breeding pairs should be down on eggs at this time of year.

The BASC deal, on the L200, was 18% discount. Some manufacturers give more, some less. That's a pretty big number to match, but presumably there is some bargaining power with the big buyers mentioned

I've had two L200 Barbarians on the scheme. First one was through Tyson Cooper directly, the latest one Holt Mitsubishi simply dealt with Tyson Cooper for me. With Mitsubishi, the discount didn't apply to non-factory fitted extras from memory. With some manufacturers it extends to everything, but this changes from time to time I think. The deal is on private and business, my two have both been business.

price up the value of the days offered in return and if you are a beater who shoots then that's a fair offer in my opinion. Obviously depends on number of days you have to beat but looks good enough to me.

Same here, have saved around £5k on a new L200 twice now. That should more than pay my membership for life I'd imagine.
