  1. Hi Nathan It is actually the window side that is the issue, first came loose at the upright (marked 1) at which point I used some sticks like sh%t which solved the issue for a while but then it just started to take the plaster off with it per photo of inside of door in opening post. It is now coming loose at point 2 in the pic. Thanks for all input 👌
  2. Hi, my door/window set up has loosened due to closing of the door. I stuck some sticks like **** in behind the door which worked initially but then the plaster also loosened! Q1 Is the frame fixed in with any fixings or is it just siliconed on all the way round? Q2 How do I go about sorting it. Any advice welcome!
  3. I have a wire-haired daschund / Teckel bitch, but assume you are referring to the smooth-haired pet type. She is the cutest, cuddliest pet yet an absolute guard dog, and hunting machine on scent. She currently has 5 pups and is the most attentive mother we have ever had.
  4. Quite a remarkable growth rate for the Teckel pups from 2 days old to 20 days old!
  5. Perhaps you are just a poor judge of lines.... These are mine, look okay to you?
  6. I was responding to the specific point in the OP post, highlighted below, so can assure you it isn't rubbish. A good working line, exhibiting a natural propensity for retrieving, steadiness, game-hunting, lack of aggression to other dogs/humans/whatever etc is generally more inclined to produce such characteristics in the offspring. This does not mean you cannot get either "duds" in the line or indeed brilliant pups from keeper's dogs lines, but selective breeding for required traits should generally create what is desired on a regular basis - that is the whole point of selective breeding. A dog is obviously shaped by how it is reared/trained, but without without the natural instincts/traits required it will not deliver the goods to any great level. The quote highlighted below is however rubbish, our dogs are keen retrievers from a very young age.....maybe it is just in the breeding...? 😉 "I have heard that the retrieving instinct really starts to kick in around puberty, as I'm a complete novice with labs I was wondering if I should be worried thus far"
  7. I have a Tritacarne, not cheap but is a great piece of kit and I usually take around 10-12kg of meat for mince off a Red which it processes very efficiently. Inox No.8 Stainless Steel Electric Mincer 220/50 (weschenfelder.co.uk)
  8. Never heard of an owl "over-eating" as they general catch live prey and swallow whole, although if weather has been bad they may resort to carrion. If it is an injury, then death will follow shortly if unable to fly and hunt successfully and cannot be captured.
  9. The former world no1 and multiple grand slam winner? 🤔🤔
  10. Innocent until proven guilty.....oh hang on......😁
  11. Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother says she won’t ‘flip’ and name names to receive less jail time (msn.com)
  12. Gordon R Members From:Just outside sunny Bolton Posted July 6, 2020 If you did actually know more about the Maxwells, you wouldn't be saying she will keep quiet. It isn't rocket science. Feel free to admit your error when she starts blabbing. Oh, its all getting very exciting!!
  13. "Ms Giuffre filed a civil case in New York in August 2021 under the state's Child Victims Act, which allows survivors of childhood sexual abuse to pursue a case which otherwise would have been barred because too much time had passed. The case accuses Prince Andrew of sexual assault and battery on Ms Giuffre when she was 17." Civil case, I believe. HTH Maxwell will not spill the beans.
  14. DPF light came on in my 2018 L200 a fortnight ago as I drove up the M6 for a week's stalking in D&G. It didnt regen itself and I was lucky that Lancashire Mitsubishi sorted it for me there and then (2 other dealerships enroute wouldn't look at it). The technician said there was an issue with the DPF as they were seeing quite a few vehicles having problems.
  15. The 8 pointer looks quite good on the mancave apex. The Royal is up in the kitchen for now but may well get moved at some point
  16. Well, funny you should say that but the 8 pointer I shot in September (my first) is on the outside of the mancave!! 😁
  17. Yes, pretty even but the crowns are switched. The mancave isn’t big enough sadly, will either go in the kitchen or the snug.
  18. I shot this big fella in Scotland last month and he has cleaned up rather well. Just got to decide where in the house is big enough to hang him!! 😀
  19. Hi Does anyone have any contacts for goose guides in D&G, as near to Cairnryan as possible? Cheers MD
