  1. I suspect almost anything white e.g. tippex, would work to a degree. The question is what would work best and give the greatest advantage in " pulling" power. As Steve_b says pigeons can see in the uv spectrum and the the white bars on their feathers glow in uv light, that's probably why dead birds are so effective. I'd like to try to obtain the same effect with decoys, hence white uv paint.
  2. Thanks for that Wilksy II. Last time I looked they were out of stock.Best wishes,Mark
  3. Hi all, anybody know where I can obtain some white uv paint? I want to touch up some old pigeon decoys but can't find anyone who stocks it. Best wishes,Mark
  4. I would endorse Mice!. Fantastic handling gun and very useable by a "leftie". I love the grippy black stock and really like the look of the whole rifle. Buy a 110, you'll love it. Best wishes,Mark
  5. I've got my photon attached with Sportsmatch ATP 66 mounts. They are fully adjustable and fantastic for zeroing the photon as it can be prone to running out of adjustment (usually vertical). Hope that helps. Best wishes,Mark
  6. I'll take them please. Cash on pick up? Pm me address or contact details and we can make arrangements. Thanks,Mark
  7. Can you please tell me what size the 5 gun cabinet is? Best wishes,Mark
  8. Hi, what sort of condition are they in and are they still for sale? Best wishes,Mark
  9. Thanks for the replies and suggestions guys, keep them coming. Best wishes,Mark
  10. Thanks for the reply WilksyII, I've heard so.e good reports of the Siloscks. As you say, the pattern is probably the most important thing and getting that right and close enough to the hide as well! Give it a go sometime. Best wishes,Mark
  11. This has probably been done to death so please bear with me. I want a few pigeon decoys for a bit of air rifle shooting and was wondering what the consensus was on best ones. I was thinking either FUDS, some old shells with the new silosocks socks on or some flocked decoys. Don't really want to bother with magnets etc. What are your views? Thanks in anticipation, Mark
  12. Bladerunnertoo, many thanks for posting such a comprehensive reply, really helpful.I shall have a bash at that and see what transpires. Well done on your 41 birds, some lovely meals there!!! All the best, Mark
  13. That's really good. Could you please tell us how you were shooting, ie, hide?, how constructed, seeks, patterns etc etc. I'd love to have a bash myself but some instructions would be very helpful. Thanks in advance,Mark
  14. Wow, that was easy and a bit worrying. Many thanks for the information. Very best wishes,Mark
  15. Thanks for the heads up guys, won't do it again!!! And just out of interest, Alpha Mule, can you pm me with how you know about the rabbit? Many thanks,Mark
