  1. Evening folks I live in Eastbourne but am looking for some shooting land in the surrounding area. It's primarily for my friend who is in his 60s and has suffered poor health in recent years. My existing permission is very hilly so not really suitable for him to get around. He is insured and holds a valid sgc and is very willing to pay to either join or syndicate or gain some shooting rights.
  2. Mine is fine in a hogue stock but is fully free floating. How about freeing up the barrel channel?
  3. I have a VQ barrel on my 1022. Whilst it's not horrendous with wine subs I find CCI or fiocci much much better

    Jimny

I've had a Jimny for four years and love it! Cracking shooting car! £1500 will get you a v good one! Rust is their enemy so you need to be savvy. My mate is selling his- red 1998 for £800. Lift kit and snorkel with new bfg mud tyres (£100 a corner) but needs about £100 spending before mot time. New alternator needed and the inside is grubby. He's only based in Guildford so not a million miles away. From memory I think it has about 78k on the clock and as its a 98 the tax is a fair bit cheaper. If you're interested I'll drop you his details and the advert details etc.
  5. As above- ceased production a few years ago so rare now and impossible to get hold of. In good condition but a few marks from use and light chip to to the edge on the tanto end which would probably vanish when sharpened. With sheath and paracord grip. £22.50 posted Pics too big to attach so can email to anyone interested.
  6. Too cheap IMO, it was a compliment With the stock and short barrel I would have thought nearer £325-£350
  7. Cracking looking gun but I think you're underselling it personally!
  8. Is it the Brighton Pride festival? Which year?
  9. Cracking car- I have a jimny too! Hate the advert font though:)
  10. I have one in HMR and love it although it's a bit of a hefty beast! Mine has a yo dave trigger kit fitted which is great and v easy to fit- really easy DIY job. Scope wise I think 3-9x40 is a little low for a HMR. I use a Hawke 4-16x50 and it's fine for the money
  11. Thanks Colin- I couldn't see a turbo pill advertised anywhere? Lots of interesting posts thanks folks! Still between a T50 and T20!
  12. Thanks Harry that's v helpful! Sadly ludicrous lumens don't have the T20 in stock but I found this kit on eBay- bargain! Is this the same as yours? Item 262409170956
  13. Thanks all, really helpful replies. Looked on ludicrous lumens- looks like a good site. Just need to work out the differences between the T20 and T50 as will probably be between these two- with a red pill as opposed to a red filter. I'm hoping the scope mount will let me use it with my 4-12x50
  14. A normal light with a filter- as far as I know IR was just an option in the NM800
  15. Morning folks I'm after a compact and reasonably priced shooting lamp for my 10/22 to lamp from the truck. Probably something with a red filter on it. I can't stretch to a NM800 so cheaper alternatives would be great! Many thanks!
  16. That is truly stunning! I would never have imagined it could look this good! Are you in a position to provide a ballpark figure of the restoration cost?
  17. Ah sorry! He got quite a few PMs apparently- glad you got a nice one though! I've only shot on paper at 50 yards but it was doing 5p size groupings which I was try impressed with. I'll get it out again at the weekend and try some longer stuff- did shoot a few at 100 yards just to see the drop and they sounded like they took a while to get there! Will report back when I've shot some groups
  18. I love my 1022 (purchased from a fellow Pw member) Has a Volquartsen 12.5 inch barrel with VQ firing pin, extractor and VQ trigger. The aftermarket extractor is superb and it cycles v well. Likes CCI and Fiocci ammo. My old 1022 likes Winchester! Don't bother buying RWS subs as neither of mine cycle them at all! Rifle looks superb btw- seriously smart bit of kit!
  19. Insurance called me back- £127 buildings and contents inc cover for my guns (at home only) That's computerquote insurance via confused.com Pretty happy with that!!
  20. Not convinced you'll have freebies coming at you 😁
  21. My buildings and contents insurance is £120 per year. When I was on the phone to renew she asked about items of value and I mentioned my guns. With this the woman says "oh we don't cover shotguns or firearms, we'll have to refer to the underwriters" Now this is news to me- I assumed as items worth £800 or less they'd be covered. Now I'm not sure whether the company will let me renew but without covering the guns or refuse me cover altogether!
  22. If you will sell the scope separately please could I have first refusal?
  23. I could be interested in the scope if you split?
