Hi anyone using or used the Bora BR99 and the Webley Web Tac 12g semi got the choice of either but the Web Tac has 3 yrs warranty both in the same price range, or anyone got one for sale, I am using at the club and on farm.Thanks.

If Speccy savers near you are anything like the one in my town I'd give them a wide berth, my new specs prescription wrong, they would not accept my old prescription was a better lens so the technician had to remake and eye test was done using old school way dropping single lenses into a frame which he adjusted manually as he had no faith in the new computerised system.

Went on my perm this morning temp showing -7 at 8.30 load of pigeons taking off from a spinney so on my walk still lots of sloes so grab a few nice and squiggy and surprisingly sweet totally different from some weeks ago the hard frosts and temp make a big difference so grabbed a handfull to munch on me way round,further on my travels hardly anything no rooks ,crows couple of high flying pigeons too far , first bean field nout ,lots of rabbit activity footprints every where, then in the next wheat field a Munjac having a root once he spotted me he was off, so after 2hr walk round that was it for me got back in time to give the Farmer and family their Christmas bits and card so all happy.

I got shut down off FB for saying about the Postal strike that the workers no delete that the employed will never achieve any thing as the bosses and unions sit on the same fence and the employed will never get back what wages they have lost,I speak to our Postie he was miffed that what they were offered will not bring their wage up to what the agency workers get he could not understand that money is offset on tax,we are in a cul de sac near large expensive houses which get their deliveries 8am-9.00am where we have 1.00pm or 3.00pm deliveries same postie ,I always joke "what o'l biddy you sorting out then" also nothing at weekends as our road is out of their way then Monday a back log of rubbish brochures etc oh for a log burner cheap fuel.

The hedgerows on my Perm is still full of them ,missed the blackberries as they had all the brambles and hedges cut but the sloes survived ,I often grab a couple to wake my taste buds up.

I bought a Birchwood kit and did a 410 stock ,took 9 days ,I taped masking tape on the chequering ,the important things are the preparation and leave to dry for a long time without rushing to get the next coat on, I used 600 and 1000 grit wet and dry wiped over with white spirit then used Bodyshop tak cloths to clean all the residue flour from sanding , this winter doing a 17hmr stock and forend the stock has a deep score mark which I have already got out by using a damp cloth and a clothes iron to draw it out and a Sharp Innova which has cabinet marks.

This is just the ammunition ( no pun) I need ,I have a couple of medical issues one in my left hip ,that was that bad last year I was admitted to hospital they in their professional opinion thought before seeing any xrays /ct scan results it was either cancer or a tumour so wanted to open me up but me being me declined their offer, so my very good GP put me on Ibuprofen gel as he saw my scans and the problem had dissapated and gone and the gel worked , put in a repeat script this week and was told I now have to purchase the gel if I need it in future as it can be bought over the counter my argument will be now so can Vap materials so I will putting that to the Quack.

Costs /prices of cartridges,I don't reload I buy factory products if I need it I buy it , don't use as much of my .22wmr due to the cost so bang 20-30 rounds at a club to keep my eye in and fuel does not come into my equation I do it as I enjoy it whether I shoot one cartridge or 20 ,walk 200 of the 500 acres it's my pastime and I enjoy it , I don't spend big money on my guns I pay £200-300 for shotguns,my Mossberg 500 FAC was £150 have a Revo onyx o/u £200 couple of Hatsans semi's £200 each not into 2-3 grand to look good and wear Oxford bags like some I know, as long as they go bang and the right stuff comes out the end I'm happy, my recent purchase was a new .233 I stumped up £575 which I had the pleasure of zeroing on a 100yds at a club great satisfaction I zero all my lr's or cf's on the 100yds better satisfaction to see the groupings than 25 or 50yds but I will admit to having a sneaky peak at the others targets to compare and think yep that'll do.
