  1. taken from the last youtube video 3 weeks ago - The Shooting Show will be taking a short break to revamp its content. We will be back bigger and better than ever. Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss our new and improved content as soon as it lands! -
  2. I use Macwets all year round, I've had poor circulation for ages, when working many years ago i bought some Damart thermal thinsulate gloves (i dont think they make them as thin anymore) to wear under those cold rubber work gloves. They turned out great, i forgot i had 2 pairs and a couple of years ago i 'found' the second pair and i now use them underneath my winter pair of Macwets, hands still get wet but not too cold. If its really bad i dont shoot

    magnet stick

Get a Gripstick, it costs double the Jack Pyke but it picks up cartridges better than any of the sticks i used before it
  4. plus 1 for a carbon steel wok, don't forget to season it before using though

    Orkney

Ben Fogel was Castaway 2000, could the other one be Eden or Eden - Paradise Lost
  6. have a look on Youtube channel - Shooting & Country TV - Drennan gives a good review of his UGB25
  7. £70 for mine just be carefull and get a receipt, i paid in cash but the money wasnt passed to the doctor and they sat on my proforma for 6 months till the police eventually informed me they hadnt received it. All sorted now
  8. my local shooting ground has these, for me a great skeet cartridge, but whether it was a bad batch or what, they are misfiring on a regular basis so much so that ive stopped using them. Misfires not only in my guns but everyone who bought them has had at least 1 misfire
  9. oh how i agree with you Billy, gets me going every time, my other pet hate is the cars and the prices shown, usually stated in large print - price at £9,000 ish but car shown is actually £16,000 so no comparison grrrr
  10. i use an old Castellani back pack (before the roller ones), i put both my guns into socks and they fit fine, slung over the shoulder it could be anything sporty. I tried a Razorback Trekker and its a clever idea but unless you want to carry all your clothes around you have to unpack everything when you want to go shooting. JMTP

    Shotkam

my guess is £100 off - its always £100 off
  12. i use a shotkam occasionally nowadays, when i first got it i found 2 things immediately 1 - i was starting before the target appeared and 2 - i wasnt using swing through as often as i had always thought, im a skeet shooter by the way. I find now that i can use the footage i have to show novice skeeters what lead is needed to hit the clay especially on peg 4, i can say 4 foot but novices can't or won't shoot that far in front until they see it in glorious technicolour. One person put 5 clays on his average after watching my footage. As others have said Shotkams are great fun items but they can definitely be a useful tool too, and theres always your Shotkam moment when you get the perfect clay break (see comment about great fun).
  13. In answer to the OP's query, i dont have the CMask2 glasses i have the Castellani CMask with the optical insert and i have no problem with fit - i'm 6ft and 18st so i reckon i've got a fat melon as well ha ha ha
  14. well i've seen the cartridges now and they are a home load, they are steel shot and 3.5mm. Theres 140 pellets and weigh 42 grams (nigh on 1.5 oz)
  15. thanks for the replies, i'll see what i can do re photos if he'll let me have a cartridge
  16. I've been asked by a mate who's acquired some 10 bore cartridges and one lot say 3.5mm Pea Shot, neither of us had heard of this but an internet search brings up quite a varied outcome but NOT for the faint hearted (don't ask - needles in bad places). I hope the answer is simple as in its shot the size of a pea, but we'd like to know either way H
  17. i looked at those and eventually settled on a Remmington RX5 from Argos, cheaper but ive used it for over a year now and im still happy with the results, get about 9 shaves before recharging.
  18. Well another season over, thanks to the Hitman for setting this up again and Mark for winning the League, oh and modesty forbids me mentioning who won the head to head league but thanks anyway ha ha ha
  19. my "favourite" is cycle lanes, seems even if theres a cycle lane a cyclist ISN'T obliged to use it so middle of the road always ha ha ha
  20. my Fabarm Classis SxS is an internal flush choke gun and is proofed for HP steel up to Full choke, i think it all depends on manufacturer
  21. just to add my two pen'orth on things but as far as i know BZ is an Italian date for 2005 not 1985, what i have 1985 would be AN
  22. Just as Scully says, Balistol, interesting smell but cleans barrels/woodwork perfectly (for me anyway), as for cleaning the first few inches of the barrel i have the much maligned Magic Bore cleaning rod which works a treat if the Balistol fails to remove it.
  23. Bump, just to give people the last chance as it starts Friday
