So I thought id keep you all up to date on my application progress, 17.03.16 Applied 09.05.16 received letter confirming my application had been received this also stated it could be 40 weeks to get a phone call... So save you counting fingers so far thats just under 8 weeks.... its going well haha

Hello all, I'm Paul and have recently found clay pigeon shooting and finally feel like iv found a long term hobby!!! So just wondered what people's recent experience was like when applying for there licence (in essex) I applied for mine not so long ago and would like an idea of timing is the 40 week wait still true??
