Hi guys, looking for a bit advice on my proof marks I've searched on here but all the info is a bit confusing, my gun is dated 2016 and 3" chambered and stamped with C.I.P over an S it's also stamped with C.I.P over the fluer de lues mark there's no pressure ratings stamped on the barrels. My question is does the c.i.p over the s stand for the superior proofing needed for using magnum carts and the fluer de lues stand for use with high performance steel carts. Cheers Alec.

Hi mate I'm down in Fife you'll get plenty of good advice on here, I've not long got a whirly does seem to help, I usually set the start of my decoys around 25 yards in a u shape and have 40 yards across the widest of the landing area I also use 2 bouncers upwind of the pattern with real birds on them, if I feel the birds are not committing Il change things about but some days nothing seems to work....lol, You say you like sea fishing what do you usually fish for? It's mostly winter cod I go after up the east coast. Cheers Alec. -
Quite like cluny it's not far from me, I'm usually there or Braidwood if you want give me a shout next time you're going could maybe meet you there, Cheers Alec

I would try different cartridges first only used 70mm shells in mime, mostly gamebore 35grm pigeon extreme and 28grm clever mirrage t2's at clays not had any cycling problems been times where it would not accept the odd cartridge into the magazine but not very often, alway take my barrel off to run the bore snake through find it easier to use that way.... Cheers Alec

Hi guys I have a 12g Franchi affinity max 5 chambered for 3 inch shells I know it's proofed for steel shot but does anyone know if it will handle magnum shells I was looking to use 40grm victory mini mags as I've got a chance at inland geese not needing to use steel as I'm in Scotland and it will be over stubble so any help would be appreciated.. Cheers Alec
