What licence is required to buy over the 14k limit of shotgun propellant
-
Maybe beating international shooters with a 410 and them using 12 gauge isn't competitive shooting but for sure it wasn't registered
-
Incorrect not all competitions are registered
-
Explain tightchoke plz my thoughts were no reloads for registered shoots, or trying to shoot competitively
-
Any suggestion's on a reloading manual for competitive clay shooting, UK spec if it applies 🙂

I've had my dust measured and it comes in at an average of 0.6mm, I loaded 10 carts up in 28g fibre 12g and tried them on clays, my conclusion is that its no good for clay shooting,

I'll have to settle for Turkey then if I can't catch them before Christmas

I was told by licensed pest control firm how true this is I can't say, he said they have to be a targeted shot and not to be shot with a shotgun incase of wounding the animal, to use a humane trap food and water has to be supplied in the cage and dispatched with an air rifle and the rat was to be burned
-
Thanks for replies I shall load up some skeet cartridges and see how they perform, as for using them for ratting apparently it is now illegal to shoot a rat with a shotgun, but an air rifle is perfectly acceptable, how crazy
-
I think the chap who had the dust before me liked liked his quarry stuffed so it would be ideal for minimum damage for taxidermy, just for reference the shot is in between the size of shot 9 and sp3 powder, I don't have anything accurate enough to measure it..thanks
-
It is rather small I will load some up to try. .thanks
-
Would dust shot be suitable for skeet shooting
-
Great stuff thank you
-
I did but they couldn't comment as the powder was sold by the previous owner of the shop and they have never used milk cartons to sell their products so it wasn't sold by the current owners
-
Has anyone got any data for psb5 for a 28g lead load in a 70mm case fibre wad , the powder is 10+ years old and bought from clay and game from the previous owner, the powder has been passed on to me without any data sheets. Thanks
