  1. what ever goes bang is a 28g No 6 or 7 you dont need fancy cartridges
  2. well i have replied essentially stating that whilst i accept that phasing out lead in 5 years is possible ther need to be exceptions for .410, 16 bore etc shooters as well as people shooting subsonic shotguns lets see if it gets anywhere - from the questions it seems to be fairly loaded in 1 direction i fear If they get rid of .410's how many kids simply wont get into shooting as by the time they can use a 12 bore they just wont be interested ?

  6. just want to say that BASC often get a lot of stick but today they really helped out ( and they have helped me out of other matters in the past) shooting tomorrow and my wife couldnt find her BASC card ( we are told its mandatory to bring proof of insurance to this sim day). I filled in the form on their website and within 30 mins my wife had her proof of insurance emailed to her - now thats service ! thank you BASC
  7. if there is a mod watching happy to have a call / DM convo on this 2 issues i can see nsa.nic.uk doesnt know about serv.ing.me.uk & badger.ing.me.uk & waffl.ing.me.uk (185.73.44.84 which means it cant then resolve waffl.ing.me.uk (95.154.202.169) <ing.me.uk> and others so one of the causes is that one of the UK roots doesnt know about the 3 servers which are the NS servers for pigeonwatch.co.uk the other issue i can see is that when the resolve does work forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk resolves to 2 different IP addresses waffling and serving.me.uk give the IP 95.216.32.96 where as badger.ing.me.uk gives the IP 65.21.205.126 is the server on 2 IP's ? So if someone can bounce this to a mod / admin i suspect if you fix the records at nic.uk for serv.ing.me.uk & badger.ing.me.uk & waffl.ing.me.uk and resolve the 2 IP addresses the issue will be fixed...
  8. fjallraven provisionally sold to goldfish if anyone wants the rest i will do them all for 100 inc postage

  10. Hi i have a load of trousers for sale - all have been worn but all are in good condition and weight loss forces sale. All are 36 inch waist / 30 inch leg apart from the Fjallraven where they are a size 52 ( ie 36 inch waist) , medium leg which makes them a 32.5 inch inside leg ( from https://www.fjallraven.com/uk/en-gb/customer-service/size-chart ) all prices are +postage or collect from HA5 ( Harrow) Fjallraven vidda pro trousers in green - the one shown has a small repair that was done by Fjallraven themselves when i got a 2mm hole in them from a hot ember. Its the left thigh in the pic shown - the patch blends in perfectly and cost £40 from memory I also have a set of Fjallraven vidda pro in burnt orange same size as above all are EU 52's regular length - RRP 180 - i would like £50 a pair I also have 3 pairs of Green Orvis https://www.orvis.co.uk/ trousers 36 inch waist 30 inch leg - £30 a pair +pp Lastly i have 1 pair of red timberland trousers which are 36 inch and apparently 32 inch leg from the label - £20 + pp i would prefer to do 1 deal if possible so why not get a bargain and get a load of good quality kit for the new season ?
  11. i just spent 30 mins putting an advert together for some fjallraven and Orvis kit and the site crashed when i clicked submit - stupidly forgot to copy the txt before sitting the button GAAAHHHHHH start again
  12. dont you do the stylish thing and let the ejectors fire them forwards and into the bin ? nothing like hitting a tricky sim pair and then getting both cartridges into the bin too i was told shooting school - let them fly and someone will pick them up clay ground - put them in the bin yourself as Skully said - its no great drama to catch them / stop them with your hand and put them in the bin. If i am out game shooting and its not too frantic i will do the same as a clay ground and put the empties in my other pocket ( saves scrabbling around in the nettles looking for cartridges)
  13. not tried their smocks but i really rate their jackets
  14. assuming that the OP has been told the truth by his friend then this would be really concerning for the medical practise and the police. Those forms have to be correct hence you pay for them... The GP practise should be falling over themselves to put this right as i believe that in accuracies on the form are a criminal offense ?
  15. just to confirm, the Dr has stated that he was at risk of suicide but the person has never visited the Dr for this ?
  16. HI i have one thats surplus to requirements as i sold my DS sport . Its the dedicated spare in a cordura bag thats never been used (155 85 r18 115m) £60 and its yours - collect w london uxbridge / ruislip way probably have some floor mats and a center console tray that i can throw in as well
  17. i would agree, some clubs also have storage thats included in the membership cost which may be useful ? not sure if all of them will store rifles though
  18. we often hear about shops and clay grounds closing ( one of each has closed near me in the last 6 months) but we dont often hear of a new one opening are they just not opening or do they close more often than a new open opens ? should we have a special section / tag to celebrate a new shop or ground ?
  19. i realised today what the issue was yesterday, the small EU based vendors werent there at all. None of the weird and wonderful vendors were there it was mainly big corporate stands and UK based shops quite why they werent there i suspect has a lot to do with brexit
  20. i am just back, my thoughts and observations 1, it was quiet on the Sunday. Not empty but there were no queues all day 2. there were loads of vendors missing ie no maxpedition, no 5.11 none of the unbranded stores with pile it high sell it cheap. 3, it felt smaller than previous years 4, this was the year of NV and thermal - though i didnt see any particularly good show deals on this its getting hard to justify £82.39 ( 2 adults 2 kids) + diesel and food for the day.
  21. i will have to remember that next season.... remember beaters it isnt work! now get out there and flush some high birds for me ! every time i beat i end up hot, sweaty, scratched and knackered. It certainly *feels* like work
  22. This one is permanently to 2+1 but by default I think they are 5+1
  23. its a mossberg 590 in Marinecote with Magpul bits. I was super lucky to get a heat shield in marinecote to match its my favourite ( especially if its raining)
  24. and i am absolutely fine with that... its the ones that still look like a wad months later that worry me
  25. we absolutely can and i offer a pic of my pump at a clay ground as consolation ( and its an awesome pump)
